South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley told The Daily Caller that Texas Gov. Rick Perry challenging former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney to release his tax returns is a “distraction” and “nothing but a political ploy.”
“I think those are distractions. I saw it in my race. They always say ‘show me your tax return’ just so they can start throwing holes in it. I think that will be his decision to make, but that’s nothing but a political ploy,” Haley told TheDC in the spin room of the GOP presidential debate. Gov. Haley, a tea party favorite, has endorsed Romney for president.

Yes, he has to release his tax returns. He shouldn’t have to. Nobody should have to. But he will have to because sappy, class-envy America now demands it.
Wonder if she thinks the Tea Party will help her get re-elected?

Nikki Haley and Christine O’Donnel are PRIME examples as the why my fellow “Tea-Partiers” need to be FAR more descerning in the backing of candidates.

I remain amazed that any Republican could think lofting a guy that pushed RomneyCare would be the best guy to go up against a guy who pushed ObamaCare.
I would think ObamaCare would loom very large in November 2012. If it doesn’t, we’re in a world of hurt.
ObamaCare is already causing severe negative consequences, and it’s not even going into effect until two years from now. We MUST end it now.
Gov. Haley keeps digging that hole deeper and deeper..........She has put her re-election in the hands of Mittens. If Mitt doesn’t get the nomination and can’t support her and Gov. Haley loses the support of the Tea-Party she is going to have an uphill climb. I think if she keeps it up she may face a Primary Challenge......I hope that doesn’t keep a GOOD Primary Challenger away from getting Sen. Lindsey Graham out in 2014!(I want little miss lindsey gone!)
