Thanks wita. I hope Newt’s opening answer at the debate tonight quells the “bombshell” aspect of Marianne’s interview. Lets hope the voting populace is a little bit better informed November 6, 2012.

Well he would be correct IF he were a Democrat but poor old Newt is a Republican so his private life is open for meticulous inspection and derision.

Republicans are the party of morals and fidelity and so are to be held to high standards and can easily be called out as hypocrites.

Democrats are party of free love, equality of outcomes and moral relativism and so can do what ever they like because they are only held to account for their intensions.

Newt would be much better off running as a Democrat. After all he came out in favor of Obama Care and Ethanol Subsidies so why not run against Obama in the Democratic primary, he has the record to run on.
