Good Morning FRiends!
How did things go with Mr S yesterday?
Ha! Rose got stuck in the traffic jam! I sad it...really bad. Luckily for me I’m going the other direction. Copter was hovering over the jam for a good half hour.
“The larger that BIG BUTT is gonna be!”-— Rose about Michelle Obama.
Good morning n’at!
How was Mr. S’s appt yesterday?
Sounds like Rose had quite the adventure getting to station...I am looking forward to tonight debate. And, hate to say it, whatever Mariannne Gingrich has to say—my guess, bitter ex 1.0
I had it wrong.... Thought t was Debnie Washerwomyn Schultz. I am slipping...
He’s going into the hospital at the end of January. They are going to do a sonogram to determine if he should have a pacemaker/defibrillator or just a pacemaker.
Here we go again........
Do they think he is going to need one or are they just testing?
Another “bad weather” Friday tomorrow (later in day). Somebody remind me why i live around here?
Oh heck! I ran downstairs to make lunches. Another traffic jam? We were stuck in two-mile-long traffic jam before the Highland Park bridge. I guess there was an accident down that way. We still made it to his dr appt - and they took him early, in fact! We were home by 1:00
PaMom, see post #9.
I think I probably meant “echo-cardiogram” - not “sonogram”!
18 degrees here and 17 in Pittsburgh - ugh!
Oh my... Sorry to hear that. Maybe it will be found that he needs neither (change of meds?). From our experience w/PaDad, the doctors truly do practice medicine (til they get it right).
The freezing rain is what gets me. A friend of mine has a son in the Navy. He’s in Seattle now and called to tell her that the storm they got was hilarious to him. He said people there had no idea how to drive or even walk in the snow. Basically the whole town shut down. He ended up walking a half mile to his ship and had no trouble but lots of other people were falling.
This last course of meds was a last-ditch effort to control the A-Fib. Only half worked. The pacemaker is the only thing left. Mr S is more than ready to try again. He’s sick and tired of being tired all the time! BUT, if this one is contaminated, you can BET we will do something about it! My husband was told he should have sued. We just are not suing-type people. Maybe we’re suckers? I don’t know. All the money in the world wouldn’t have brought him back if he had died.
I’m pretty sure that, given the last episode, the doctors will be VERY careful this time!
Sorry to hear that the meds didn’t work as well as hoped for. Will keep Mr. S. (and you) in prayers...you both have been thru a lot.
