She said when Gingrich admitted to a six-year affair with a Congressional aide, he asked her if she would share him with the other woman, Callista, who is now married to Gingrich.
"And I just stared at him and he said, 'Callista doesn't care what I do,'" Marianne Gingrich told ABC News. "He wanted an open marriage and I refused."

This is why Newtie can turn on a dime, blowing "insurance mandate," "Global Warming," and "Contract with the Earth" in one instance and repudiating it the next.
Santorum for President. At least we won't have to be explaining away what happens because he is far less likely to "change his mind" after the election. All of those who mouth, "he can't win" should remember: That's what they said about Reagan. My dog could beat Barack Obama, as long as he is a conservative.
After Clinton, there is no one that “lacks the character to be president”.

We can all look down our pointy noses and play right into the Dims Saul Alinsky tactics, or negate them.
The train carrying the perfect candidate has never reached the station. You wait on the platform for a train that will never come, or get on a train that gets you close to where you want to go.
I didn’t say that. I’ saying that this will damage him politically with female voters. Many of them who have been through a divorce, many of whom are independents, and many of them who vote on character over policy.

I've seen countless Freepers already confused about Wife #1 and Wife #2 and who did what when.
Many don't even know that Newt was caught having this affair during the Clinton impeachment. It was sad to see the Speaker of the House who was running the impeachment trial not able to speak up because of his own sexual indiscretions.
I'd vote for Newt if he got the nomination but although he can talk he's far from the image of the White Knight that he's so recently acquired.
What was she thinking when she was the mistress against wife #1, that she's so outraged now?
