She said when Gingrich admitted to a six-year affair with a Congressional aide, he asked her if she would share him with the other woman, Callista, who is now married to Gingrich.

"And I just stared at him and he said, 'Callista doesn't care what I do,'" Marianne Gingrich told ABC News. "He wanted an open marriage and I refused."

As much as I may believe this is true, and that I also believe that I don’t think Newt is the best choice, I am soooo pissed at this government and the MSM establishment I am disposed to ‘cut off my nose to spite my face’ and to vote for Newt Gingrich in the Georgia Primary. He’s my guy from now on....

I look forward to Newt pasting Obama’s ass all over the debate stage (whenever Obama can summon up the balls to debate him).

I look forward to the GOP masses ignoring MSM’s plaints about Newt’s this an that, countered with the masses’ “that’s old news” and “it was just sex” crap.

I look forward to Newt picking a real kick-ass running mate of unquestionable integrity.

I look forward to seeing Obama being investigated for crimes against American Citizenry (this is where I hope Newt lives up to his reputation as a revengist)......

Vote for Newt!!!!!!

“Gingrich was voted out of the speakership by the most conservative congress ever for a reason."

That most conservative congress included Hastert and Boehner each of which were listed in “Throw Them All Out” for sweetheart land deals, insider trading, and using their positions to benefit themselves.

For all of your moral righteousness, you sure know how to align yourself with some real scumbags.

Nothing I posted was about my righteousness, or lack thereof. You projected that. It was a logical argument on the consequences of floppy moral principles. In fact, the insights behind what I wrote were based in my own journey to lean how to tell an ever better truth. As far as I am concerned, G_d Himself and alone owns that capability.

An effective liar believes in what he is saying at the time. Clinton did it by subjective definition of terms, "is" being the most famous example. Obama does it by thinking his statements applicable only in terms of 'his people' as supposedly the dispossessed. Newtie does it by aligning himself with the university elite adhering to their (albeit Marxist) ideas about truth, anthropogenic global warming or biodiversity being prime examples of such a cause celebre outweighing conservative principles in his mind.

Liars attract liars, in Newt's case, this includes people who want so badly to win that they'll explain away anything (and yes, I'm referring to his youth). Enjoy your fantasy.

I think people are looking past his baggage and its a big mistake. He has one of the highest negative opinions in surveys of anyone. I agree he is a great debater and thinks well on his feet but that won’t help when the press brings up story after story on his character. That and his huge ego is why I cannot vote for him. This story is just a taste of what is to come if he is our nominee. It is best if any candidate has baggage that it come out early so it cannot be used as effectively against him in the general election.

I don't think so, and here is why.

Man is married to Woman 1 and has affair with Woman 2.
Man divorces Woman 1 and marries Woman 2.
Man is married to Woman 2 and has affair with Woman 3.
Man divorces Woman 2 and marries Woman 3.

Now most women I know would have great sympathy for Woman 1. But Woman 2 got what was coming to her. That's just my experience with how women think in these situations.

Marrianne is Woman 2. She was the one who wrecked his first marriage. I don't know many divorced women who will feel sympathy for “the other woman”.

I would rather you continue to enjoy yours. Because that’s the motto of the Santorum run so far. A nowhere candidate that is still living off a screwed up caucus in Iowa as if he won 55 states already.

Now he is just looking to wallow around in Romneys/MSMs dung pile because he thinks he will come out with no smell.

Some of us "indepentd women voters" got over our divorces and moved on with our lives. Some of us recognise that God's saving grace applies to Newt as it does to me and to you, if you've asked for it. So, yes, although I've never been a "soccer mom" per se, a good number of women see beyond the tactics of the media. We also understand that for all of us who have had bad things happen in our lives, the blood of Jesus Christ covers and cleanses. I vote for the man I see today.

Door 1: Zero - Liar, Marxist, anti-American, muslim, curses America's friends, grovels before her enemies.

Door 2: Newtonium - most powerful and volatile substance known to man. Handle with care. Capable of massive change. Can also go off deep end with whacked out ideas at times. Needs powerful team around him. Needs House and Senate to keep him reigned in. Had affairs in past. Seems to have turned corner. Kids support him.

Door 3: Santorum - Moral guy, family guy, not much in the way of executive experience, comes across like he is in High School at times, couldn't get reelected in his own state after supporting Arleen Spector. It was a very flawed judgement on Rick's part.

Door #4: Willard Romney - raised to comply and become worthy. Has lost every election he ever ran except one. The race he ran was won because he either set aside every moral he had, or really believed in abortion, gay marriage, higher taxes, goverment mandates, etc. Decided that he couldn't win a primary in the R party without running as a conservative. Probably a good administrator. Is exactly the image of the punching bag ZEro wants to run against. Made most of his fortune stripping assets out of weak companies. Legal? Sure. So are ambulance chasing, scum-bag attorneys.

Which Door: Our country needs MASSIVE CHANGE. I only see one choice left that can accomplish that.

Not divorced but I will say this... I have strong feelings about someone this bitter after what? Fourteen years? She got him the same way Callista did, She screwed a married man.

That sure doesn’t beatify her when we all know she didn’t object when he was married before.

Just a scorned woman taking her shot.

"You know, tnose indepentd women voters, im sure they won’t care one bit. Especially the over 50% of them who have been through a divorce themselves."

That particular group is a real mixed bag. They can be threatened by strong attractive women so most many hate Palin. Regardless, they did help push hussein in '08. But that majority disappeared in '10. Now recent reports show them abandoning that side in droves, primarily over concern of fiscal issues rather than social.

If Newt can play this without appearing overly defensive or attacking, it will disappear soon enough.

It’s about to be a breaking bombshell, as it will be televised on a major news station tonite for all the nation to see, not just those who are inside baseballers like us, or those who read the Esquire magazine interview. Now the whole nation will hear about this. Seems like a bombshell about to explode to me.

Here, try this on for size about your wonderful Newt:

“Newt Gingrich is smarter than you. Don’t feel bad, he’s smarter than everybody else, too. Just ask him. Or look at what he’s done.
Repeated adultery with younger women, while each successive wife was seriously ill -— and all along Newt was proclaiming himself a champion of family values. Attacking mortgage lender Fannie Mae, while secretly getting paid $1.6 million as a lobbyist for them – and claiming he was a “historian,” not a lobbyist. Attacking Congress for gridlock, when personally led the destruction of Congress’ civility and traditions in the 1980s as a “bomb-thrower” and evil genius tactician. (Seriously, look it up.) A half-million charge account at Tiffany’s Jewelers for his latest, youngest woman (that we know of).

All this for 30 years running, and he’s still a leading contender for President as a religious, morally crusading Republican? Yeah, he’s smarter alright. As a historian, he knows Americans forget anything over 5 years old, and the press will ignore your long-term character traits if you give them any new, shiny story to report.

It’s not that Newt lacks charm. My personal favorite thing is that he loves, loves, LOVES dinosaurs! Not in any creepy way, for once, but with the deep enthusiasm of a five-year-old boy. For that matter, notice how many of his “visionary” scientific ideas involve lasers and outer space and huge explosions. That’s adorable. The problem is, most five year olds have a sincere narcissism that would lead them to happily order far-off cities destroyed if they got some candy in return. That’s why we don’t put them in charge of the world.

But ultimately, Gingrich is amazingly similar to Bill Clinton - two are pot smoking, draft-dodging adulterers from poor Southern families. Click on the allegation of your choice:

Adultery:
Callista Bisek. Anne Manning. The unnamed “young volunteer”. Are we missing anyone?

Draft dodger

Dead-Beat Dad

Family Values? Pressing Wife for Divorce in the Hospital

House Banking Scandal: Newt Bounced 22 Checks

Book Deals: Murdoch’s $4.5 Million wasn’t the first

GOPAC sleaze: Taxpayer subsidies for his partisan campaign course.

Corporate reward: $2,500/month to Newt’s wife

Who Owns Him?

Sources:

Quotes:”

Quotes:
“We had oral sex. He prefers that modus operandi because then he can say, ‘I never slept with her.’” - Anne Manning (who was also married at the time.)

“We would have won in 1974 if we could have kept him out of the office, screwing her [a young volunteer] on the desk.” - Dot Crews, his campaign scheduler at the time

[In the book] “Men Who Hate Women and the Women Who Love Them”, [I] “found frightening pieces that related to my own life.” - Newt.

“I think you can write a psychological profile of me that says I found a way to immerse my insecurities in a cause large enough to justify whatever I wanted it to.” - Newt, speaking to Gail Sheehy.

“She isn’t young enough or pretty enough to be the President’s wife. And besides, she has cancer.” - Newt, on his first wife.

“I don’t want him to be president and I don’t think he should be.” - Newt’s wife Marianne.

“She [Callista] is the single most self-centered person I’ve run into in politics—it’s all about her. They do these movies together, and she does a word count: she has to have the same number of words on camera as he does or they have to reshoot. ...And Callista did not want him to run for President. That’s why he had to buy her so much damn jewelry.” - Will Rogers, Gingrich’s Iowa strategist until he quit in May, 2011

“If the country today were to move to the left, Newt would sense it before it started happening and lead the way.” - Dot Crews, his campaign scheduler throughout the 1970s.

“It doesn’t matter what I do. People need to hear what I have to say. There’s no one else who can say what I can say. It doesn’t matter what I live.” - Newt.

Adultery:
Sex on the Desk - Oral Sex is More Easily Denied
Several newspapers are now reporting that Newt Gingrich is dating and basically living with Callista Bisek, a “willowy blond Congressional aide 23 years his junior.” Biske, 33, has been spending nights at Gingrich’s apartment near the Capitol and has her own key. In an amazing act of hypocrisy, Gingrich was apparently dating Bisek all during Clinton-Lewinsky adultery scandal, even as he proclaimed family values and bitterly criticized the President for his adultery.

Reporters and other Washington insiders have known about this relationship since 1994, even before Gingrich became Speaker of the House, but did not have any solid proof to report. In 1995, Vanity Fair magazine described Bisek as Gingrich’s “frequent breakfast companion.” Gingrich was married to Marianne Gingrich during all of that time, and just filed for divorce in August 1999.

Newt is apparently trying to create a new hybrid form, Christian adultery. According to MSNBC, Bisek sings in the National Shrine Choir, and Newt would often wait for her at the Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, listening to her sing while he read the Bible.

This is hardly the first time Newt has cheated, either. “It was common knowledge that Newt was involved with other women during his [first] marriage to Jackie. Maybe not on the level of John Kennedy. But he had girlfriends — some serious, some trivial.” — Dot Crews, his campaign scheduler throughout the 70s. One woman, Anne Manning, has come forward and confirmed a relationship with him during the 1976 campaign. “We had oral sex. He prefers that modus operandi because then he can say, ‘I never slept with her.’”

Kip Carter, his former campaign treasurer, was walking Newt’s daughters back from a football game one day and cut across a driveway where he saw a car. “As I got to the car, I saw Newt in the passenger seat and one of the guys’ wives with her head in his lap going up and down. Newt kind of turned and gave me this little-boy smile. Fortunately, Jackie Sue and Kathy were a lot younger and shorter then.”

Thanks for the reply. I don't mind anyone using my innocuous post as the springboard for advocating for or against a candidate.

I remember that liberals took down Bob Livingston, too, when he replaced Gingrich as Speaker, over an affair.

I also remember during the Clinton/Lewinsky times when the liberals were so desperate to show that "everybody does it" that they even dug up a 30-year-old affair with Henry Hyde, of all people.

What do these all have in common? They happened a long time ago.

Republicans always lose the "holier than thou" game.

As you pointed out, the only political casualty from "MonicaGate" was Bob Livingston.

Marianne was sleeping with a married man, and HE lacks moral character? He does, but I’d say that door swings both ways.

Surprising he couldn’t pulll this off with his debating skills. Most men would want the same thing if they could pull it off and have the dough to make it work.

I do a great Clinton impression. I’ve been on a local morning radio show with it. A buddy DJ had me call in a couple times.

My favorite bit was saying, “Paula Jones lied. She did everything I asked her! I mean to tell ya, it’s a good thing they didn’t get HER dress! Or her scarf, or shoes.”

I got in trouble at work. A woman a bunch of us can’t stand had a baby and it’s middle name was the same as mine. A couple women were teasing me about it, inferring that maybe it was really mine. I of course went Clinton and said, “I did NOT have sex with that woman! Honest. You can take that to the bank. Scouts honor!” I really poured it on and someone ratted me out. Got me a talkin’ to by HR.
