Newt seemed like a VERY well-rounded young man with all of his activities.

We all knew SC would be Newts best shot. If he did well, and he usually does, in the debates, they’d need something to knock him back.
IIRC this interview was taped before the debates, then probably shelved, ‘in case’.
What will be more telling is how widespread this story is today with the talking heads. They sure waited on the Bain to see if it got any traction first.
Now hopefully Newt and Rick S can sit down and talk and possibly give the other a VP spot or a high end position if we win against the MSM, establishment, the elitist, the white house and all the billionaires like Soros.
Never said it was required, but it does help win. And republican’s are tired of putting up people for debates that can’t make the conservative case for us. Newt clearly has the best chance to make the conservative case in a debate. But Perry is definitely better 1:1 and with crowds. So this could be interesting. Maybe Perry for VP. That would be interesting seeing him debate Biden.
