Former House Speaker Newt Gingrich has now surged ahead of Mitt Romney in the final Rasmussen Reports survey of the South Carolina Republican Primary race with the vote just two days away.

The latest telephone survey of Likely GOP Primary Voters in the state finds Gingrich with 33% support to Romney’s 31%. Two days ago, before the last debate, it was Romney by 14 percentage points.

Texas Congressman Ron Paul now runs third with 15% of the vote, followed by former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum at 11%. Paul's support is steady while Santorum's support has dropped five points since Monday. At the beginning of the month, just after Santorum’s strong showing in the Iowa caucuses, he ran second to Romney with 24% of the vote.

Bad news for the Mittster. No Republican has won the nomination without winning South Carolina since the primary was begun.

There's NO WAY Santorum drops out now that this Marianne interview will be on ABC tonight. He'll be in AT LEAST until Florida.

My wife insists that men just don't get it.

"Women will never vote for Newt once they become aware of these revelations...at least 90% of whom never heard them before".

She talks about the homemakers "bubble" and how a man can get away with a lot of immoral things...until he brings them through the front door of the home.

From that point forward all women will hate him, no matter what else. Even if it means the complete destruction of the Republic.

I have to admit, I don't get it. But, she's ADAMANT.

LOL. Now the polls are reflecting the reality on the ground rather than the pollsters desire to "push" the electorate in a given direction.

These people have no shame.

Everyone must remember that not only is getting rid of Obama priority one, but getting rid of his Marxist takeover plan (aka OBAMACARE) must be at the forefront of the election battle.

Mitt cannot stand against Obamacare because of his liberal stance on RomneyCare. This is worse than most realize. At the same time, he is timid compared to Newt who will go toe-to-toe with Obama who cannot win a fight with Newt on ANY ISSUE. All Obama can do to Newt is play personal politics and attempt to beat him that way. That, of course, and BUY THE ELECTION whereever he can. Every gutter-level vote will be purchased.

And this is just the tip of the iceberg. Go Newt !!!

Milt was leading by 14 before the debate. And is now losing by 2 following the debate. LOL!

Shows you how bad Romney came off, and how good Newt performed.

I don’t hate him. I also don’t hate my FIL who cheated on my husband’s mother leading to their divorce.

Annoyingly, I think that's true. Amazing how that same dynamic doesn't work on the Democrat side, though. Democrat women assume that Democrat men are scum.

Go Newt!

Soon-to-be President Gingrich has all the momentum on his side. He's unstoppable now, even with the slings and arrows coming his way from the Marxists (and that include Mitt Romney, every bit as evil as is Hussein O'Bambi).

When President Gingrich takes the reigns power along with Tea Party patriots in a year, a small government coupled with a mighty military will restore American Exceptionalism to levels not seen since the Reagan Era.

Rebellion really is brewing! Go Newt Go!

“Senator Rick Santorum at 11%.”

Seems to be an all around good day.

Oops, Newt is ahead of The Chosen One. Enter stage left, the scorned ex mistress/wife. Anyone keeping a tally of all the mistresses who have been made headlines this campaign season?

Go Santorum! A true conservative! One wife! No mistresses!

The race is down two candidates -- Newt or Romney. Santorum can only prevent Newt from beating Romney at this point.

I have concern that that's correct. I fear that this issue will cause many independent and conservative women to think twice about voting for Gingrich and may stay home on election day. Liberal women (who are going to vote for Obama anyway) apparently, aren't bothered by this behavior(ref: Bill Clinton).

Your wife is speaking for the ‘first and only’ wives’ club.

However, with a 50% divorce rate - there are millions of second and third wives who have suffered first wife revenge and will sympathize with Newt and Callista.

There are also millions of divorced men who will root for Noot....just because.

Thankfully, Marianne & Newt did not have small children - which is where most people draw the line. Men & women who selfishly follow their hormones rather than parent their kids are pariahs.
