Skip to comments. Why use ‘despicable,’ clueless left-wing media to moderate GOP debates?
Posted on 01/20/2012 9:10:47 AM PST by Mount Athos
There is growing consternation in Republican circles and among conservatives over why Republicans keep allowing the various Communist, leftist and otherwise anti-American TV networks to host GOP debates.
The utter cluelessness of the questions these people think actual American voters care about is mystifying.
Indeed, the entire phoenix rising candidacy of former House Speaker Newt Gingrich can be attributed to Americas abject hatred of the left-wing media. He was destitute and written off by the press when he tapped into one of the most visceral political reactions coursing through the veins of regular Americans.
Last night, we saw once again why Republicans need to keep allowing fakers and Communists to moderate their GOP debates. Because without the leftist, elitist snobs to beat the ever-living crap out of every couple of weeks, the debates would be so much less fun.
So ferocious was the rebuke of the low-foreheaded moderator that he meekly tried to back out.
And once again, the audience roared its approval, voters watching at home leaped to their feet and whooped their approval and the elites in the media once again recoiled in disbelief and confusion.
In its folly of pretending to care about these voters, CNN allowed one voter in the audience to ask a question. She simply wondered what each candidate would do to make sure that all the illegal aliens flooding the country would not take the jobs of actual legal Americans.
Superb question. But CNN cut her mic, and Mr. King tossed her question aside to ask his own idiotic, canned question about immigration that rendered the same canned answers we have heard a hundred times before.
For these left-wing networks, the last thing they want to deal with in this election is ideas, truth and fairness.

What media should be used for the debates?
“Why use despicable, clueless left-wing media to moderate GOP debates?”
I’ve been asking that for quite sometime, moreso this year than ever before; and, I’ve kind of written it off to the GOP elites as the cause because there truly isn’t a dime’s worth of difference between the GOP elites(moderates/liberals) and democrats.
I agree Left-wing, Press, Is Biased, and wants to promote Obama only as a positive for themselves.
So Newt can Knock the HELL outta them and make ‘em look STUPID!
They need to hold a debate which is a rehearsal for debating Obama i.e. allow each in turn to go after some guy in a clown suit representing Obama and let the audience judge who did the best job on the clown.
I’d say keep using them,
AS LONG AS YOU CALL THEM ON THEIR BIAS EVERY TIME.
And Newt is the only one, currently, to kick back instead of begging them to kick him in the nuts a little less hard.
Hurt Hits A Home Run!
“What media should be used for the debates?”
The Hucksters forums were informative as well as the Fox sponsored debates. I wonder why? /sarc
Somebody please post a video link to the opening Ginrgrich rebuke.
Response: A good question?
Comment: I watched CNN's after the debate "analysis." They were visibly shaken by the audience reaction to Newts response.

I’ve been asking that question for many years! I’m for allowing all political ideologies to be involved in all parts of all future debates for POTUS and for VPOTUS: Democrat debates, Republican debates, and Third Political Parties/Independent debates, during the primary season and during the general election season! Nobody is off limits, and be as flexible as one can be with all debate formats, from now on. I’m, still, waiting for the day that Rush Limbaugh is allowed to ask questions, in future debates, involving Democratic candidates for POTUS!
What do you mean what media? Have these guys set up their own forum, agree on it, and then have a Republican/Conservative MC the debate. After it is set up, invite the media to televise it if they wish. Don't take any money or support from them.
I'm kind of surprised they haven't invited Hugo Chavez or Charlie Sheen to host a debate.
The questioning starts at 8:08.

Who makes the call on these debates as to what channel they’ll be on?
That is also my opinion. I say it is the candidates faults. They always respond defensively with their answers/excuses instead of taking the moderator to the woodshed.
I heard that last nights debate was the last one at least through Super Tuesday in March.
Don’t know. I was curious about that myself.
