Mittens is just another Wall Streeter, used to making backroom deals using insider info.

He is unable to street fight on his own. It showed in last night’s debate.

He Needs a phalanx of Lawyers and Consultants to lead the charge, while he looks pretty ‘directing’

Mittens will crumble soon enough. He’ll stay to the end because he has Goldman and JP Morgan backing.

My prediction:

1) Mittens, Newt, and Dr. Paul will end up going into Super Tuesday with a similar number of delegates.

2) Dr. Paul will not run 3rd party.

Rush also said who would be the brokers? Rush also questioned, are there powerful enough party members in each state that could overthrow the primary election results?

I don’t think so either. And if somehow a brokered convention were to happen that was put forth by the DC Belt way Establishment, they would obviously put some moderate as their candidate...the fastest way to Loserdom. Any BS brokered convention would possibly lead to a new conservative party being formed.

Ron Paul supporters are amassing delegates, posing as Romney supporters where they can, and it will begin at our precinct level. Many of us will not even attend our neighborhood precinct meeting on Election evening to sniff out what is happening. They move into the county convention as committed, and onto the state conventions as commmitted, and to the National Convention, where only on the first ballot they must remain committed. On the second ballot, they break for Paul. I just can’t get the column posted that explains it on Red State.

I’ve been listening to Beck for sometime, I think he’s now promoting Santorum as a stalking candidate to keep the conservative votes split, which is favorable to Romney.

And the liberals of the party would throw it in a heart beat. They are the modern day Vichy.

It’s possible. Santorum’s not popular in any capacity, so that would make sense. Besides every beef I have heard him say he has towards Newt is entirely applicable to Santorum (and Romney as well). I think if Beck is rooting for anyone, it’s Ron Paul, because Beck’s a libertarian, and has said he guarantee’s there’ll be a 3rd party run if Gingrich is the nominee. I think he’s rooting for Paul, not Romney.

Romney should never have run in 2012.

"Conservatives" on FreeRepublic and talk radio - Rush & Co - are in large part to blame. In 2008 they rallied around Romney to "Stop McCain", only to give legitimacy to this fraud for another run.

The idiocy of short term thinking!

The likely candidates would be Mitch Daniels or Chris Christie - maybe Paul Ryan, but I doubt it.

Any of those three are both more conservative and far more electable than Romney or Newt. Santorum may be more conservative but Daniels/Christie/Ryan are much better bets in the general election.

We all want to see that, TSgt.
But knowing Bam for being the coward that he is, he would not debate Newt.

The pay-per-view gate for an Obama vs. Newt debate could probably buy us a new aircraft carrier!! LOL

I agree...Santorum will become a foil for Romney if he stays in past his last place position in SC..

There won’t be any brokered convention to overturn the primary elections so the point is moot.

I heard Beck talking this morning about how he could never vote for Newt and he would be happy to start a 3rd party and campaign for the person if it is Newt who wins the nomination. I also heard Mark Levin a few weeks back say that if anyone runs 3rd party he will trash them. I thought he was talking about Trump or Ron Paul at the time but now I think he probably knew Beck was tossing the idea around.

Once people learn about Romney, they hate him.

This was proven in the Weekly Standard's "Overestimating Romney" article from December 19th. It's just been a matter of praying enough people would get the message in time.

Beck said he’d vote for Santorum, not Romney.

Becks true agenda is quite transparent. For several weeks he has gone overboard trashing Gingrich, but his true agenda is quite transparent. He is using Santorum as a front to hide his relentless attacks on Gingrich thereby paving the way for his bud Romney. He knows Santorum cant win.

And Beck does this all the while telling his listeners to make up their own minds. Its disgusting...despite all the good things Beck has done I no longer trust him. He is dead to me now.

BTW, I am not a cheerleader for Gingrich. There are many things about him I don't like. But, considering the current crop of GOP eunuchs he is the only one with the balls to take the fight to the media and Obama. We just might win with Gingrich because he is not afraid to say what most of us are thinking.

I am starting to stamp my foot here. LOL! Can’t seem to get a comment on #24, from the Redstate article, where Rush likely got his information in the first place! Can’t get the dang original article posted for some reason. “The Horserace January 19”, by Erick E.

When asked if he would release all of his tax returns like his father did, Milt said "Maybe"... laugh, laugh, chuckle, chuckle.

Wrong answer, Milt, but thanks for playing.
