Wow...that took courage. I applaud you. I didn’t buy in to the Palin hysteria like almost everyone here and I’m not buying in to Newt. Sorry Jim.

Newt is the Brett Favre of Republican Politics. As a born and raised Packer fan there were days I loved Favre and days he drove me crazy.

Mark my words. Just like Favre, Newt will throw an interception to end the season and break your heart. He will say or do something absolutely devistating (like he has so many times before) and will hand Obama another four years in office. I’m not willing to take that chance.

I frankly think the remaining field sucks, but Santorum sucks the least.

I think the Favre analogy is good. Newt is great at throwing those interceptions at the worst times.

I’m more concerned though about his lack of organizational skills. You need to have those in order to have a ground game during the summer and next fall.

Once the debates end in a couple weeks, we are done with the format and forum that Newt thrives in. After that point, it is up to him to kick ass with an organization and working hard behind the scenes to get money and support.
