Hamas and Fatah continue to accuse each other of a lack of commitment to the reconciliation deal signed in Cairo last May.
Bethlehem-based Maan News quoted Fatah spokesman Ahmad Assaf as saying Saturday that evidence on the ground shows that Hamas hasnt fulfilled anything of the Cairo agreement.
Assaf said Hamas continues to detain Fatah activists and denies Fatah members from Judea and Samaria entry to Gaza. The Hamas government in Gaza also refuses to open the Palestinian Central Elections Commission offices in Gaza, he said.
Hamas released a statement, too, on Saturday, accusing Fatah of undermining the terms of the reconciliation agreement by continuing to detain its party affiliates in Judea and Samaria.
The Hamas statement said Palestinian Authority (PA) forces have detained five Hamas supporters in Shechem and Bethlehem and summoned several other members for interrogation.
Despite the talks about reconciliation and about halting political detentions and interrogations, the PAs security services in the West Bank continue with their systematic policy against Hamas supporters," the statement said.

Heh.
When will they get around to killing each other? Soon, I hope.
What? They haven’t already done a few hits and blamed Mossad? Man, this falling out is dragging.
Sheesh, they are as bad as the mooselimbs!
Keep hoping. The libs kept hoping for Iran to crumble from within, and that hasn’t happened. Iran’s going to soon teach them to stop worrying and love the bomb . . .

Doesn’t “fatah” mean “death from AIDS” in Eqyptian?
wasn’t this discussed in length in that Monte Python movie,,”Life of Brian”? The scene where the different anti-roman terrorist groups got into it with each other?

What a surprise! Palestinians not honoring the deals they sign? I’m shocked! Shocked I tell ya!
And if they fall out with Hamas over who killed the most Jooos! or who makes the best beheading videos, or who’ll win the world series or whatnot, then the Quartet will claim the Oslo remains in effect, and the pressure will be on Israel for another Freeze and more piece negotiations. And Bibi the human accordian will fold. We need a new governing coalition yesterday, with Ehud gone and Bibi at least demoted to a minor cabinet post instead of PM.
