Consumer group accuses Hollywood of 'threatening politicians'(Won't support obozo)

Consumer group Public Knowledge on Friday accused the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) and its head, former Sen. Chris Dodd, of trying to intimidate lawmakers into supporting a pair of controversial anti-piracy bills.

In recent days, Dodd and other top Hollywood figures have threatened to cut off campaign donations to politicians who do not support their effort to crackdown on online copyright infringement.

"Those who count on quote 'Hollywood' for support need to understand that this industry is watching very carefully who's going to stand up for them when their job is at stake. Don't ask me to write a check for you when you think your job is at risk and then don't pay any attention to me when my job is at stake," Dodd said on Fox News on Thursday.

When a politician sells his vote, what does Hollywood expect? Actually a vote isn’t “sold” so much as it is “leased.”

Personally, I love it. The bring the crookedest politician in to head the movie industry..and he threatens politicians.

A professional politician for his ENTIRE career...and now he’s getting a taste of onerous government legislation from the other side. Oh, the irony. Laughing my butt off..and Hollywood, you can continue to kiss off.

Personally, he should be starring in his own movie..a documentary, filmed in Alcatraz.

Give them some time -- in a couple of months at the most, when SOPA and PIPA has died down in the news (killed off by partisan media shills, who have already bent over backwards to avoid showing that the Democratic Party was the prime mover in both bills -- you'll see very little "D-statename" after Leahy's, Schumer's, etc names), there will be a big fundraiser, rally, $20,000 a plate dinners of by and for the entertainment industry and "journalists" to donate to Zero and the Demwits.

Dodd is a bought bum who has Always bent over for sale.

Guess who led the charge to destroy Glass-Steagall, a law that protected us from the recessions caused by casino-banks. They bribed him big, so he killed it. This Automatically led to the collapse of 2008, which people like me predicted when the bought bum killed that worthy law.

Dodd Directly destroyed the entire American economy, and put millions out of their homes and jobs, for the usual bribes.

Rotten Dodd has done a thousand times more harm to this nation than Benedict Arnold and every traitor since. He’s a worthless, bribed bum, and that’s all he is. I hope the rotten, evil SOB chokes and dies on the money he stole from the people. He has been the most blatantly for-sale Congressman in history - and that’s saying something.

Ain’t if funny that the FBI could spend years investigating Megaupload, yet could not find One thing wrong with Goldman-Sachs (Timmy’s buddies), even though they Admitted to vast crimes that helped sink the economy. How odd that the law is Totally Partial in its enforcement.

And it’s also Very odd that the Megaupload raid happened One Day after the SOPA blackout. Come on - they’re showing the fist because they’re afraid of our power.

Ain’t if funny that the FBI could spend years investigating Megaupload, yet could not find One thing wrong with Goldman-Sachs(Timmy’s buddies, who give most of their money to Dems), even though they Admitted to vast crimes that helped sink the economy. I would almost be a cynic and think that the law is Totally Partial in its enforcement.

And it’s also Very odd that the Megaupload raid happened One Day after the SOPA blackout. Come on - they’re showing the fist because they’re afraid of our power. Can’t have the people learning the truth and complaining. Can’t have that. Might be bad for business. Not real business, of course - we mean CorpaGovernment Crony Capitalism, that hands favors out to companies that can’t compete anywhere but Washington.

Dodd needs to be in a jail cell with Barney Frank, not heading up the MPAA. These people are vermin.
