TEAYS VALLEY -

Neighbors who saw a Husson's Pizza delivery driver shoot a would be assailant are praising him as a hero.

Delivery driver Morgan Vandergriff pulled a concealed handgun and shot DeSean Saunders in the arm and chest after an alleged robbery attempt.

"I may order from this place more often," said Sable Point Apartment resident Vinny Masi. "I like this guy. I like what he did.

Vandergriff reportedly has had his conceal and carry permit for nearly 10 years, but this is the first time he's ever had to use it. That weapon is the first Husson Pizza manager Nick Husson has heard of it.

"It's not something we encourage or condone," said Husson. "We don't allow [guns] on the property. But if someone has a legal right to carry one, it's not my business."

Husson said the delivery business has actually become safer as the popularity of credit cards has grown. Still, there are areas he won't send delivery drivers to.

"There are areas where our drivers have been threatened and intimidated," said Husson. "We just don't deliver there anymore."

Masi said the delivery driver did the right thing in protecting himself.

"Sometimes you give a robber your money and they shoot him anyway," said Masi. "I would have shot him twice."

Interesting choice of neighbors comments. In the old MSM, the reporter would be reprimanded, probably for "promoting vigilantism".

The neighbors are great in this article. I’m guessing they don’t appreciate the “Desheans”, aka Amish, showing up and committing crimes.

Ah, yeah, “vigilantism”, that hypocrite term for those who cannot do the jobs that Americans want them to do, ie. American Presidents who do not enforce border laws against Vigilante immigrants, and are against self defense of every American.

A “rule of law” that supports one vigilante over another is neuteured as such...

No court cost? Ah, you mean no paying for a process of avoiding due process and encouraging/rewarding the avoidance of due process by criminals, corrupt officials, activist courts of judges who do not like to treat certain laws on a fiat preference basis (and those obeying them like lemmnings) and Obama (sarcasm off)

Indeed, that delivery man is a hero.
