talk-of-bold-visions alert.

This is the country that put men on the moon -- and brought them back again.

Well, no -- this is the country that shares the name and occupies the space of the country that put men on the moon and brought them back again.

So Rick will be in Tampa sitting with the Iowa delegation screaming for attention.
Earth to Rick: "It's Over Dude"

Take a few pointers from Herman and Michele.
You are becoming more of (if this is possible) an embarrassment than the Whacked Out Old Guy.

You really don't like being talked down to do you junior?
If you would just listen to Newt you might have a political future.
This cat knew the jig was up prior to the first debate…

This is what a CLASS ACT looks like, Santorum... the article made it very clear it wasn’t just a going-through-the-motions kind of support. The speaker of the SC House supported Perry and then went on to help Newt once Perry left, and last night Newt said that SC Speaker Guy rolled out a tremendous ground game for Newt and made a big difference... I, for one, will never forget what Perry did for Newt. Never.

If Rick goes after Newt, he’s done. Just the facts. People are sick of conservatives going after conservatives, and Newt is campaigning for conservatives.

I watched this yesterday, and also watched the one and a half hour video of one of his campaign stops. Rick was very impressive, and the crowd really appreciated his message.

We did it 40 years ago. We could not send a man to the moon today and bring him home. The white guys with crew cuts who smoked on the job who did all that are gone. And nobody bothered to ask them to pass on their expertise. NASA was too busy masturbating over global warming.

Here's some more vomit-worthy excerpts from our pal Ricky "SOPA" Sanitorium:
"This whole idea of personal autonomy, well I don’t think most conservatives hold that point of view. Some do. They have this idea that people should be left alone, be able to do whatever they want to do, government should keep our taxes down and keep our regulations low, that we shouldn’t get involved in the bedroom, we shouldn’t get involved in cultural issues. You know, people should do whatever they want. Well, that is not how traditional conservatives view the world and I think most conservatives understand that individuals can’t go it alone." [source]

"What was my vision? I came to the uncomfortable realization that conservatives were not only reluctant to spend government dollars on the poor, they hadn’t even thought much about what might work better. I often describe my conservative colleagues during this time as simply ‘cheap liberals.’ My own economically modest personal background and my faith had taught me to care for those who are less fortunate, but I too had not yet given much thought to the proper role of government in this mission." –Rick Santorum, p. IX It Takes a Family: Conservatism and the Common Good (2005)

"I suspect some will dismiss my ideas as just an extended version of ‘compassionate conservatism.’ Some will reject what I have said as a kind of ‘Big Government Conservatism.’ Some will say that what I’ve tried to argue isn’t conservatism at all. But I believe what I’ve been presenting is the genuine conservatism our Founders envisioned. One that fosters the opportunity for all Americans to live as we are called to live, in selfless families that contribute to the general welfare, the common good." –Rick Santorum, p. 421 It Takes a Family: Conservatism and the Common Good (2005)

"If you're a conservative, there really is only one place to go right now. I would even argue farther than that. If you're a Republican, if you're a Republican in the broadest sense, there is only one place to go right now and that's Mitt Romney." –Rick Santorum, 02/1/2008 [source]

Wow! How the hell did this socialist bastard get this far?

If it weren't for the fact that Santorum isn't on Gringrich's radar, Gingrich could use Santorum's own words as ammo against him.

Rick, how does this message sound: I have decided to suspend my campaign for the Republican nomination for President of the United States. I have decided to endorse Newt Gingrich because he is a conservative who cares about America and the American people.
