Mitt Romney "conservative" dynamo for change: On the Contract with America
youtube video ^

Posted on 01/22/2012 7:05:00 PM PST by Jim Robinson

Mitt Romney favors working with the democrats to bring change. Where have we heard that before? No fight in him. Whatever the dems want they'll get. Romney is the ultimate aisle crossing consensus builder, ie, surrender monkey.

Proof: as Massachusetts governor he supported or didn't fight against abortion, gay marriage, liberal judges, gun control, global warming, socialized healthcare, etc.

Romney = Obama.

When a modern Democrat says hope and change, you can bet the bank that they mean rope and chains.

Two generations ago Democrats had some good sense left. No more.

Two generations ago they were democrats.

Now they are mostly communists that call themselves "socialists."

If there’s one thing we’ve all learned it’s to never ever trust anyone who wants to “work with democrats”.

I have no issues working with Democrats...

As long as they do exactly what Conservatives tell them to do...

Mitt Romney is the most uninspiring major candidate in my lifetime. Even the people who work for him are more enthusiastic for their paychecks than for the candidate.

True, but he had the military record and Sarah Palin. In any event, I don’t think that any Republican could have won in 2008, as voters were eager to rebuke George W. Bush. McCain was able to poll a respectable percentage of the vote. I just wish he had retired in 2010.

Romney = Obama

If we wanted to work with Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid we would have kept them in power and hoped for Obama's second term. Why do we need Romney if he's just going to speed up Obama's "hope and Change" by working with those we voted out of power.

Seems like our choice (between Romney and Obama) is either:

1)Obama who by-passes the republican controlled Congress

or

2) Romney who wants to give Pelosi/Reid what they want.

Thank God we have a third choice and his name is NEWT!

When a Republican says "reach across the aisle" he really means "reach around" and do what they tell him to.

No, we don't need that sort of "bi-partisanship" anymore. You sure don't see the Democrats getting involved in it.

Slightly spoiled by a concluding remark from the misleadingly named PETA (people need to realize PETA doesn’t believe in having animals as pets of any kind, let alone what Romney reportedly did to Seamus). But mostly a zingerful commentary.

The site

has gone viral.
What does it matter who agrees that abusing the family dog is wrong? It is cruelty, and speaks to the man’s character.

My cats beg to disagree about PETA. They would be cat-ghosts, not pampered pets, if PETA had its way. ASPCA might have made more sense for a comment here. But any how, yes that’s no way to treat a dog.

Of course there is no fight in Romney. My apologies to our female freepers, but Romney is a pussy.

Mitt Romney on Gun Control

Top Romney Flip Flops: #3. Gun Control: Campaigning for the Senate in 1994, Romney said he favored strong gun laws and did not “line up with the NRA.” He signed up for “lifetime membership” of the NRA in August 2006 while pondering a presidential run, praising the group for “doing good things” and “supporting the right to bear arms.” Source: GovWatch on 2008 campaign: “Top Ten Flip-Flops” Feb 5, 2008

Romney retreats on gun control

January 14, 2007 - Former governor Mitt Romney, who once described himself as a supporter of strong gun laws, is distancing himself from that rhetoric now as he attempts to court the gun owners who make up a significant force in Republican primary politics.
