Skip to comments.Mitt Romney "conservative" dynamo for change: On the Contract with America
Posted on 01/22/2012 7:05:00 PM PST by Jim Robinson
Mitt Romney favors working with the democrats to bring change. Where have we heard that before? No fight in him. Whatever the dems want they'll get. Romney is the ultimate aisle crossing consensus builder, ie, surrender monkey.
Proof: as Massachusetts governor he supported or didn't fight against abortion, gay marriage, liberal judges, gun control, global warming, socialized healthcare, etc.
Romney = Obama.
When a modern Democrat says hope and change, you can bet the bank that they mean rope and chains.
Two generations ago Democrats had some good sense left. No more.
Preach on brother Robinson! :-)
Yeah that “walking across the aisle” stuff has to stop as the country gets screwed every time. GO NEWT GO!
Two generations ago they were democrats.
Now they are mostly communists that call themselves "socialists."
If there’s one thing we’ve all learned it’s to never ever trust anyone who wants to “work with democrats”.
As long as they do exactly what Conservatives tell them to do...
Mitt Romney is the most uninspiring major candidate in my lifetime. Even the people who work for him are more enthusiastic for their paychecks than for the candidate.
Wait a minute, McLame was not exactly Mr. excitement!!!
True, but he had the military record and Sarah Palin. In any event, I don’t think that any Republican could have won in 2008, as voters were eager to rebuke George W. Bush. McCain was able to poll a respectable percentage of the vote. I just wish he had retired in 2010.
If we wanted to work with Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid we would have kept them in power and hoped for Obama's second term. Why do we need Romney if he's just going to speed up Obama's "hope and Change" by working with those we voted out of power.
Seems like our choice (between Romney and Obama) is either:
1)Obama who by-passes the republican controlled Congress
2) Romney who wants to give Pelosi/Reid what they want.
Thank God we have a third choice and his name is NEWT!
No, we don't need that sort of "bi-partisanship" anymore. You sure don't see the Democrats getting involved in it.
Slightly spoiled by a concluding remark from the misleadingly named PETA (people need to realize PETA doesn’t believe in having animals as pets of any kind, let alone what Romney reportedly did to Seamus). But mostly a zingerful commentary.
Great video! Just one more reason to be against Romney.

has gone viral.
What does it matter who agrees that abusing the family dog is wrong? It is cruelty, and speaks to the man’s character.
My cats beg to disagree about PETA. They would be cat-ghosts, not pampered pets, if PETA had its way. ASPCA might have made more sense for a comment here. But any how, yes that’s no way to treat a dog.
Top Romney Flip Flops: #3. Gun Control: Campaigning for the Senate in 1994, Romney said he favored strong gun laws and did not line up with the NRA. He signed up for lifetime membership of the NRA in August 2006 while pondering a presidential run, praising the group for doing good things and supporting the right to bear arms. January 14, 2007 - Former governor Mitt Romney, who once described himself as a supporter of strong gun laws, is distancing himself from that rhetoric now as he attempts to court the gun owners who make up a significant force in Republican primary politics.
I would never give money to the ASPCA because the exterminate (”euthanize”) unwanted pets after a short time in their shelters.
is great because it highlights the cruelty of Mitt Romney, the control freak who wants to be our President.
Yes, not much fight in him...which means he is a lot like them. Go away Romney...just live your life without being a politician because conservatives do not want a weak man that will not stand for right!
ASPCA, like a lot of municipal “kill” shelters, euthanizes unadopted animals — but to be quite fair, makes no secret about it either.
PETA is truly despicable as they have taken advantage of emotionally fragile elderly people who are heartbroken at giving up their pet, and have LIED to these people promising to find the pet a home — then straight to the killing chamber the pet goes, without even exposing it to the public! Because PETA does not believe in animals being pets — they have taken it on themselves to play God.
Some veterinarians accept limited amounts of “no kill” pets. Mine does.
Thanks for the info. I knew PETA was wacky, I had no idea of the cruelty they were doing to animals and to human beings.
HSUS is a borderline-wacky agency too. Their position is midway between ASPCA and PETA — they would “prefer” that animals not be pets, but are resigned to the best compromise they can find while animals are pets.
Since the idea of pets dates back at least to biblical days — the domestic dog appears in the gospels — HSUS is smoking some wacky weed, though not as much as PETA.
Oh, and I adopted my latest cat, Timmy, from a county shelter that kills unadopted pets after about a month. But, they actually do surgeries where needed (he had an undescended testicle they had to get before he would truly be neutered) and they had this post-surgical cat in a tall roll-around tower of cages which jiggled while WOOF! WOOF! WOOF! was heard all around day and night from the big canines that shared the facility. I took pity on this tomcat and adopted him. He rewarded me by getting into fights with my other furry guy, Jimmy, marking when he lost the fights, and going after my spayed females like he never knew he’d been neutered. I still have the rascal.
