“Jumpin Jehoshaphat!”
Kollapsin’ Kolob!
In politics, there is the third rail of SS. It is referred to as the rail that thou shalt not touch, because like the subway rail, it is hot and will fry you.
Well, there is another third rail. 200 million people who were otherwise qualified to vote did not register or vote last time, because they could care less.
Both candidates were different sides of the same coin. What was there to get excited about?
However, after three years of open warefare, with the aid and abetting of the willful media, this country is going down the toilet.
People have noticed what happens with silent aquiesence. They are mad, they are driven, they want that scumbag set back on his heels, and the GD media enablers with him.
That is the third rail of the electorate, and Mr. Gingrich has located it and tapped into it.
Mr. Gingrich is going to ride it all the way to the White house, and the next eight years. We are going to carry him there.
JR says rebellion is brewing. It is way past that, it has come to a boil and the pot overflows.
Lets work for a sweep from dog catcher to President!
FINALLY - a source more reliable than CNN/MSNBC/CBS/ABC combined.
Yes, all of those years of compromising with the left has left him with an inside angry spirit that is hard to detect...but now Newt will bring it out, and rightly so.
They said that about Newt about three months ago. A lot can change very quickly. If Newt suddenly bombs you will regret Santorum having dropped out of the race.
Although I could vote for Newt in the general, frankly, I think many at FR have shown poor judgment in expecting that Mr. Gingrich will do what he has led them to believe. But then, I said that when so many fell for Arnold in California.
Can you please define what an “election eve concession speech” is? Let me guess, you weren’t exactly at the top of your high school graduating class, were you?
LOL...man, I miss that paper. I’d pick it up once in a while and nearly every page was a gem. I was genuinely sad when it wentout of business.
Hank
“If nominated Gingrich will give one of the most articulate, imaginative and forceful election eve concession speeches ever.”
I voted for Bush in the 1980 Primary. Unfortunately the ‘unelectable’ Reagan won. What a bunch of STUPID Republican voters, nominating that actor who was ready to blow up the world because he HATED the Soviets so much.
Carter never had a happier day than to learn that Reagan was his opponent...
Have a lovely evening. He doesn’t have a chance, and may prevent the only conservative that has a chance. NEWT!!
Yeh, I knew what you meant. That statement Romney just made about foreclosures, may be true, but it’ gonna leave a mark. I’ll enjoy seeing him try to squirm out of it.
Santorum can just suspend his campaign and then get back in, in the event that those space aliens Newt met in the ‘90s come back to abduct him.
Newt was winning Florida in December before all the negative ads hit. These people have come back to Newt. He’s got 2 more debates this week which is always good for him. Imagine the lead he would have if Santorum would drop out and endorse him. You have to consider Newt the favorite. They’ve thrown the kitchen sink at him and he’s still there. The people want a strong leader who will take down Obama hard. This is no time for the weak and timid. Newt will beat Obama so everyone needs to stop with that silly argument. They were the same people telling you Romney had this wrapped up hoping people would believe them and just handed over to Mitt. I think people don’t want to be told what to do by the elites in the media. I would say, just put on C-Span and listen to a Newt Gingrich town hall. It’s just common sense and we know Newt will give the country a clear choice by clearly defining what Obama is and not being afraid to say it. Newt says what we are all thinking and that’s why he’s resonating. Go Newt!
God bless you, going hot!
I know you’re right about our third rail and Newt Gingrich has not only tapped into in, he’s leading the charge and the lamestream is well aware and trying to downplay and fight back!
I’m going to send him the money I saved for over 3 years for Sarah Palin. I’m all in for Newt Gingrich and I’ve decided now is the time he needs my Sarah Palin money. I’ll try to find more when he’s the nominee.
“FINALLY - a source more reliable than CNN/MSNBC/CBS/ABC combined.
Considering the knee jerk liberal media sources you listed, you must mean the National Enquirer.
Your tagline is wrong. Try Gingrich/Perry or Gingrich/Palin. Not Newt. That is his first name and their last names! DOH! lol
They’re saying FL is one of the states hardest hit by the foreclosure crisis, so that’s why Mitt is trying to slime Newt with trumped-up Freddie Mac accusations. Just like with the Bain layoff stuff, Newt needs to slime Mitt as a heartless Wall Street tycoon with his foreclosure comments, even if the millionaire wing of the Republican party recoils a bit.
I betcha Newt’s got a plan to get the forclosed homeowners vote, I can’t wait to hear it. LOL.
Nah - Check the reply to - Weekly World News
Funnier and more accurate than Chris Matthews without the John King liberal attacks.
And it had BatBoy.
Finally, some more sanity.
Wonderful news!
And............RuPaul and his Fourh Reich are fading fast....
GO NEWT !!
Ender Gingrich
Speaker For The Free
Hermann Cain knows what I mean.
The ad needs to state that Romney's advisers met with Obama many times to craft ObamaCare.

And how is Mitt different from Obama?
Hey Jim, please put me on your ping list if it’s different from TitanAFC’s.
Thanks, and thanks for all you do.
If I were Romney, I would STFU about healthcare.
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2011/10/11/romneys-advisers-met-with-obama-to-help-craft-obama-care/
Well then we’ll get him anyway, ‘cause your boy Mitt sure won’t beat him.
Well, I'm sure this is messing with my least favorite Republican -- Karl Rove.
Well, I really don’t have a ping list. Just a few names that I use mainly on freepathon threads, but if you want me to call you to all my fundraising posts I can add you.
ROAR!!!!
Just in case you missed this excellent post. I think you will enjoy it.

Wow Jim...astounding news!! Go Newt!!!
Sure! It will remind me to get creative in there!
This is what I believe also. How does Newt Gingrich bring all Republicans back together after the primaries are over? How does he convince the approximate 3/4's of the American people who are not rock-ribbed conservatives to vote for him?
Don't get me wrong...Romney doesn't have a chance to beat Obama either. He has the same problem Newt has in trying to bring all Republicans back together. I just don't see it happening no matter who the Republican nominee is. The divisions are too deep, the animosity too vitriolic.
Big Mo is with you, Newt. Use it to defeat Mad Mo in 2013.
Apparently, it was underly optimistic in SC. It certainly did not predict 40/28.
“If Newt suddenly bombs you will regret Santorum having dropped out of the race. “
Santorum can’t win even if he’s the last one in. He’s too green. They’d get someone else in that situation.
Well, Florida is only half-southern.
Does anyone know why she went so nuts over Romney?Ann votes in Palm Beach FL, but owns a condo in NYC, which she calls home. NYC is right on the border of the six-state area that is considered "New England". Only tiny CT separates NYC from MA, and it is about a 2.5 hr drive from NYC to the MA state line. Most of the NYC elite feel a kinship with MA much like most of the south feel a kinship with Georgia and Newt. This also helps explain most of Fox News' insanity toward Romney as well. |
Well, there's an inadequate proposal for one only last year that he called "Right wing social engineering." Doesn't that warn your heart?
Why, that would be the same Speaker who wrote "Contract with the Earth," advocated carbon trading, amnesty for Illegals, cash for clunkers, a world biological diversity refuge system, the healthcare mandate, protecting the ESA, public private partnerships for green energy businesses, support for the NEA, and gave all kinds of deference to the very "scientists" that gave us everything from bogus temperature records to planted lynx hairs on trees...
Yeah, that guy. If he can lie to his wife, he can lie to you.
What these big swings in the Republican primary polls really tell us is that much of the support for all these candidates is both shallow and reluctant. It means that it could all swing again and very quickly should any of the mud that's a coming stick. And no, they're not out of mud, not by a long shot. I'm keeping my head, thank you.
Mitt Romney - Can’t Buy Your Vote lyrics
Can’t buy your vote, vote
Can’t buy your vote
I’ll buy you Romneycare my friend
If it makes you feel all right
I’ll make your mortgage payments end
If it helps you sleep at night
Cause you don’t care too much for Romney
For Romney can’t buy your vote
I’ll give you lots of free food stamps
If you say you’ll vote for me
I may not have balanced budgets
but what I can I’ll buy for you
For you don’t care too much for Romney
For Romney can’t buy your vote
Can’t buy your vote
Dick Morris tells me so
Can’t buy your vote
No, no, no, no
Say you won’t be a welfare queen
And I’ll be satisfied
Tell me energy that isn’t green
is just perfectly fine
For you don’t care too much for Romney
For Romney can’t buy your vote
Can’t buy your vote
Frank Luntz tells me so
Can’t buy your vote
No, no, no, no
Say you don’t need no Medicaid
And I’ll be satisfied
Tell me you don’t need tuition paid
in order to get by
For you don’t care too much for Romney
Cause Romney can’t buy your vote
Ooh, can’t buy your vote, vote
Can’t buy your vote, no
I hope Christie does not run. He looks like he’s about 1 hour away from a coronary. He has some serious health issues.
Let's see, that is one familiar claim, very similar to this little quote from Carl Greenberg of the LA Times, Jan. 4, 1966:
See post 145. Oh, and allow me to add this quote from the same 1966 LAT article cited there:
In what appeared to be repeated allusions to Reagan, who has never held public office, Christopher said Republicans should ask themselves now what experience does the candidate have to hold the office of governor.
Its going to be a difficult race at best. But when all the glamour has worn off, the man elected will be a very lonely man and it will be a very intense job, because if we lose I dare say we shall not recoup for 20 years or more.
Anybody know how reliable this poll is? How did the poll do in South Carolina? The Insider Advantage poll was accurate in SC. It was taken taken just ONE day after the Monday debate in SC where he got his first standing ovation, so Newt was surging at that point, but he had not yet reached his full SC strength. And the poll DID fit the curve, along with other polls that said he was surging, and Romney was falling. |
Arnold had no political experience before running for governor.
Newt has a resume which I really like. Newt has proven history.
Again who is Mitt different from Obama?
