Whos the League of Women Voters trying to kid? Somebody needs to raise the question. Might as well be me.
What kind of organization has the local League of Women Voters become? Where has its legitimacy slipped off to? What was once a credible player in the political process has become merely another partisan group.
We have passed the point at which a critical mass of voters, at least in southeast Florida, recognize that the LWV can no longer lay claim to be nonpartisan. Objective people heavily involved in politics here have seen the evidence mount for years...

The league of Women Voters has been opposing voter ID in Wisconsin. ‘Nuf said?
No organization can rely on the banner over the front door to protect it’s integrity.
Without good people staying active and involved, Satan will send his minions to rot the organization from the inside.
Have you ever heard of O'Sullivan's Law? If not, then Google it.
The League of Women Voters has registered illegals to vote in Iowa.
They are nothing but a left wing organization in our area.
In the Albany New York Capital region the visible members are Pr-Abortion, pro-diversity, promote “separation of Church and State”.....and all the other liberal/progressive mantra. Ostensibly that say they are not political and sponsor “debates” and information pieces. Of course, the local press has them on TV as giving “objective” analysis. Kinda like Planned Parenthood helping you plan your family, Or Not.
This was breaking news in about the mid-1960s.
that sums it up EXACTLY!
They are opposing it all over the country. Acorn indeed.
thanks for the tip . . . very interesting article on it from 2007

I thought the LWV was originally started by the Communist party USA. I think if you look back the same few people swapped “president of this and that” back and forth and all members of CPUSA.
The LWV was one of them, PTA, Lawyers guild, ACLU some of the others.
