I didn’t “hear or see” that statement it is wholly my own original observation - so don’t squawk “talking points” at me, either.

(Well since we both didn’t see or hear it, I find it humorous as well...)

YOU are certainly entitled to your opinions (that’s what this website is for), and your observations, based upon what others have said or shown you, is certainly your option to convey them here...I will not brow-beat you for that...

When you make an observation about someone, and post it here, and someone (like me) who knows the person you talked about personally (I worked with him and many of his compadres at NASA years ago...) and I don’t see that...

I could be wrong, I could have been tricked or duped into believing they are politically apathetic...Which IS something about the NASA community up and down the ladder there which is prevalent...We were encouraged to not be politically outspoken at work, and sometimes it spread to the home where you might have been even cautioned to NOT put political signs or advertisements for or against propositions in your yards during an election season...

You could safely assume where I stood on that particular bit of nonsense...

So you can imagine what he was really going through being married to a US Congressmember there...I don’t think he married her because of her political party affiliation...I stand to be corrected, and the folks in her state may certainly clarify this for me, but I thought she was a moderate Republican before she turned democrat, JUST to win the seat she occupied there before she resigned recently...

I don’t CARE about his WHIPPEDness. That he WHINED that Sarah OWES him - HIM - Mr. hyhenated, an “apoplogy” is cowardly and partisian. Screw him. He was shooting for admiral - it is obvious he ain’t gonna git it, now “he’s” playing the PC card. Double screw “him”. I HAD to tolerate commissioned BOZOS like him for 21 years. Now I WILL NOT.

I didn’t mind not being represented by her for a year, not like I agreed with many of her votes. I think it’s stupid she resigned now. Now we’re stuck having a special election to elect somebody who’s going to be in the seat for like 2 months, and the normal congressional election. After having gone a year she just should have announced she wasn’t going to seek re-election and left things empty until the regular election.
