Do you know who personally handled the conversion of the teenage girlfriend of Mitt Romney? The Governor of her state.

She and Mitt got married, her parents were forbidden to witness the marriage because Mitt Romney is so elite within Mormonism that only a small percentage of Mormons qualify to witness, or to be present for such events involving the elites, and her parents as no-Mormon were of course, forbidden.

Many LBO firms today find it advantageous to brand themselves as Venture Capital firms. This is primarily done for deceptive reasons when it comes to first approaching companies the LBO firms may be interested in actually acquiring as opposed to investing in them as a true VC firm would. The LBO firm wants to answer the question; can we acquire this company and either part it out or leverage it up in order to suck-out lots of cash. Most companies are not initially all that interested in cashing-in or selling-out. Saying you are a VC is a way of making it easier to get a quick “inside look” at a company and answer this question before revealing their true goal....acquiring and quickly disposing of the company at a profit.

As a lifelong Conservative and GOPer I must write that I liked all of our candidates for some aspect of their character or their politices. I thought and still do that any of them would make a better President that Obama.

Yhe problem with Mitt Romney and my own feelings for him began around New Years Day when he dediced to do a scorched earth campaign against Newt Gingrich. It was apparent that Mitt was unable to convince the voters to support himself, so he resorted to total negativism.

I began to really watch and listen to him in the debates - and I then realized that he either refused to - or was unable to defend or sell the concept of the free market and of the enormity of the danger our country was in.

Newt on the other hand was ready at nearly every moment to answer the debate questions and to insert other timely topics which would showcase gthe ineptness or un-American behavior of the Obama administgration. Newt brought up energy policy and the Keystone pipe line; eh mentioned gthe Obama Justice Department and the Obamacare suppression of personal religious freedom in the rules fregarding abortion and congtraception; he threw the charge at the MSM that they loved to throw garbagve at every Republican while progtecting any and all charges againsgt Obama.

A week ago I was open to a Romney candidacy (at least I was keeping my options open); no more. I am now in full throttle mode for Newt and will vote for Newt in next Tuesday’s MN caucuses. A week ago I was ambivalent and was concerned lest I be unable to make a choise. No more. Go Newt!

Newt was my Rep before and during his tenure as Speaker. He was always super intelligent on issues and very good making his points. Where he fell down was that the higher he rose, the further left he moved. I think he was trying to move to “the middle” to expand his base. There were times when he made moves that had me questioning whether he was trying to commit political suicide. Those eventually led to his resignation. I don’ t know whether his political resurrection will hold. Only time will tell. I honestly don’t know if he can beat 0bama, because he has a tendency to make major gaffes at the absolute worst time. You can also expect the dims to dig as much dirt as possible from day one, although Romney seems to have beaten them to the punch.
