Obama blames eligibility woes on GOP and "hyperpartisanship"

This looks like Obama is trying to float a test excuse as to why he won't be showing up at the ballot-eligibility hearing in Georgia on Thursday.

Carney: Obama sees ‘regrettable level of hyperpartisanship’ in Washington

"Even though he promised to bridge partisanship before coming into office, President Obama “accepts that there is still a regrettable level of hyperpartisanship,” White House spokesman Jay Carney said on Monday.

Carney said there were “instances” in which the tone on Pennsylvania Avenue “got in the way of moving forward.”

"Carney used an example of the GOP's persistent call last year to release Obama's birth certificate as a “gratuitously stupid side show.” "

Now, there's a major honesty problem here as the GOP has never called for the release of Obama's birth certificate. And the lawsuits we have know have been from Berg (a Democrat) and Keyes (an Independent) and just a bunch of very concerned, but genuine natural-born citizens and others. My guess is that when Obama doesn't get his vice president to cover for him in Vegas, therefore missing the hearing that he was subpoenaed to appear at, that the excuse will be "hyperpartisanship" and "this is a gratuitously stupid side show."

And bringing up any blame here sounds pretty desperate and pathetic. Maybe Obama sees the writing on the wall. He’s being asked about accomplishments, blames hyperpartisanship for failing, and then brings up the birth certificate issue as an excuse. How much time did it really involve to get the PDF that Obama posted?? They wrote a letter to Hawaii and sent a lawyer to pick it up, and then held a press conference. How exactly did this stop the big projects Obama wanted to accomplish?? The LMSM certainly didn’t ask Obama (or his press secretary) about this issue and “waste” time over it, so what the hell are they talking about?? Obama is acting like a lame duck.

Obama exemplifies the very reason that there are such strict qualifications for president.

He has no loyalty to the founding principles of this country because he’s foreign, if not in birth, in belief.

I need to get a passport and it requires a certified copy of my birth certificate. I send my home state seven bucks, wait a week, and I have it. Not so tough. But then again I’ve never been adopted by an Indonesian guy, had a foreigner for a father or used a half dozen names.
