U.S. unlikely to fully recover, Carney warns

Canada needs to look beyond its southern neighbour for markets because the United States economy is unlikely to ever fully recover, Bank of Canada governor Mark Carney said Sunday.

In an interview with CTV's Question Period, Carney said that it is vital for Canada to look for new trading partners in the Asia-Pacific region and elsewhere to prevent the economy from being dragged down by the U.S.

"It's going to take a number of years before they get back to the U.S. that we used to know - in fact, they are not, in our opinion, ultimately going to get back to the U.S. that we used to know," he said.

Carney pointed to China as a market with great potential and as a place where Canada is under-represented, but cautioned it would take time to enhance trade between the two countries.

There’s some change you can believe in.

In a rational world, this would be classified as treason at the highest level of government.

Anyone who is educated on the nature of our debt problem and lack of domestic manufacturing production (the needed source of sustainable revenues) knows that Carney’s correct. We’re going through a default process that will end in repudiation and sudden downward adjustment of our dollar.

Only government-connected socialists are trying hard to believe that our economy is recovering, because they will be the last to lose their incomes in this default process. Until then, they continue to make sure that the rest of us can’t legally make useful products or even build things on our own properties without legalized extortions/bribes being paid (”impact fees,” frivolous engineering, etc.).

We’re not buying anything that we don’t need, until we see new leadership in every level of business, government and academia. So yes, Canada should seek new customers for the time being. This situation of America getting poorer is going to get far worse.

We’ve been deindustrialized. Regulations now against small and large production businesses are outrageous.

BTW, I’ve said for several years that oil will rise, and the dollar will fall. And globalists will continue to eat that along with their lying propaganda. These are the consequences of handing so much manufacturing to other countries and destroying so many American families (with feminism, romanticism, etc.).
