I Finally Understand Democrats
American Thinker ^ | January 23, 2012 | Johnny Alamo

After years of puzzlement and curiosity observing modern day Democrats, I think I have finally figured them out.

I'm constantly amazed that modern Democrats have evolved beyond living in caves. I mean what other animal on this planet can disregard all common sense and logic and survive? Scientists have recently discovered that even giant sea slugs that do not possess a brain as such can learn from past experiences. That puts them a leg up over the current crop of liberals in this country. I used to subscribe to the adage that liberalism was a mental disorder, but even Rainman would have a hard time buying into the standard mantra of the present day Democratic Party. In order to believe that Democrats have the answer today, you would have to believe:

That you can grow the entitlement class beyond the taxpayer class and never hit critical mass where there is no money left.

That using the military to oust a murderous thug dictator in 2003 was criminal, and using the military to oust a murderous thug dictator in 2011 was noble.

That the best way to grow the wealth of the private sector is to take all the money out of it.

That the best way to make us energy independent is to block any effort to produce more petrocarbons in this country.

That the best way to create jobs is to increase taxes and regulations on the job creators.

That the best way to stop arms from this country from getting into the hands of the drug cartels in Mexico is to provide arms to the drug cartels in Mexico.

That all the ills of the economy are due to the fat cat banks and other corporations, and the best way to deal with that is to provide billions...

It’s an infantile mental disorder - apologies to Lenin, who had the original quote.

Saul Alinsky, Cloward/Pivin, Antonio Gramsci, The Frankfort School... look ‘em all up. They are the Cultural Marxists/ totalitarian collectivists who formulated the tactics that form the intellectual basis of the assault on the Western World and its concept of individual freedom.

The Democrat leaders paint themselves as having good intentions, but like the old proverb, lead the others along the road to hell. They’re always clamouring for bigger government, but what do they always get instead? Overly oppressive government. In other words, there’s no end to what they have to complain about. It’s self-fulfilled.

Thanks for posting. Got a good chuckle out of this one, and emailed the link to a friend who will probably post it at her favorite site.

I was out Sunday putting a few miles on my iron and decieded to stop in a little watering hole I came across in my travels.the 30 or so persons already there were very friendly and greeted me with open arms. That is until the subject of politics was brought up. I got out of there with only a few scratches (me and bike) some people are lost andcannot be reasoned with

Insane? True, but mixed with a huge dose of just plain evil. I thought about getting into theology here, but it is not necessary. Even from an athiest view, their desire to dominate others is evil.

Liberalism is a boutique ideology... Shall I explain? It can only exist in mature societies that can survive on past growth while the bark hardens and rots. I have a son at Harvard right now, and he voted for Obama. He is smart, but intelligence is not why he supports liberalism. He supports the “cause” party because it makes him feel good and soothes his guilt. He drives a coal-burning electric car because it makes him “feel” like he is fixing the enviroment/earth/climate. When I ask him where the coal chute is at he looks puzzled. I’m sure he could figure it out, but that would require a desire to figure it out, which he does not possess. So far, Harvard has steadfastly avoided imbuing him with such critical thinking skills. I leave it to the reader to understand that.

The thing with liberals is that when their schemes don't work IT IS ALWAYS SOMEONE ELSE'S FAULT.

They will always try again, they will never admit that whatever they want to do is a stupid idea.

To play devil's advocate, here, let me pick one line:

That using the military to oust a murderous thug dictator in 2003 was criminal, and using the military to oust a murderous thug dictator in 2011 was noble.

Obama said the war in Iraq was a dumb war, and a waste of our resources. He was always in favor of going after Bin Laden and the people who actually attacked us. I tend to agree with this point.

Simple. Consider that ever since January 1989 when the "amiable dunce" left DC for his beloved ranch, with the US at the peak of world history, the country has been ruled exclusively by Ivy League einsteins--of both parties. And look where they have got us to in 23 years.

This will be his second degree, so he’s paying for it. I did pay some for his first degree though, and he got a full dose of propoganda there, trust me. I don’t think he is as enamored of the annointed one now though, he finally pulled the Obama bumpersticker off of his car!
