Please dont project human emotions and feelings upon lesser creatures. Our family cat likes to sleep on top of the television. Once she streatched and yawned causing her to fall off the television; and, we all roared with laughter. She then humped up an hissed at each of us in turn. She knew full well we were laughing at her.
Lesser creatures are more than some would like to think.

I’ve had cats knock down and break something. Quick as a flash they are on the other side of the room, casually grooming, and looking around, as if to say ‘how did that happen?’

I know my cat, Whitey (she was born white except for grey ears and tail, she now looks like a Snowshoe Cat with blue eyes) once saw Obama on TV and she hissed and swatted at him on the screen.
