It does matter because if the old story was the correct story, it means that it wasn’t connected to Paxon and that Newt had nothing to do with it. Perhaps, Paxon was also under pressure by that group that was outing Gay Republicans. There were always a couple of them, whose identity we couldn’t figure out.

“The job then is getting the people to move, to act, to participate; in short, to develop and harness the necessary power to effectively conflict with the prevailing patterns and change them. When those prominent in the status quo turn and label you an ‘agitator’ they are completely correct, for that is, in one word, your function—to agitate to the point of conflict.”

-Saul Alinsky, Rules for Radicals

I predict “Financial Crimes Unit” will be the name of the PAC running ads against Romney in the general (should he win the nom), unless Gingrich swipes it first. LOL.

At least 50% of the Democrat party is as leftist as Obama and are pleased with him wrecking the united States of America. Moron Shelia Lee Jackson showed up at the US House of Representatives 12 hours early to make sure she had an aisle seat so she could glom onto Bammy Boy. There are other male and female groupies just like her.

I see your point and agree with it. But my point was that regardless of whether the story was right or not, Brit apparently believes Newt had something to do with his sons death and that carries over into his coverage of the campaign.

Susan Molinari is an advisor on the Romney campaign.

I am smelling a rat. A big stinking rat. Would his campaign sink that low???

The connection to Newt has been made recently by Susan Molinari, according to a post above. I just read that she is an advisor on the Romney campaign.

If it looks like a snake and slithers like a snake....

“These guys are acting like it’s just another election, if they lose maybe they win in 2016. It’s incredible how they do not understand that the very existence of the America is hanging in the balance.”

You are SO RIGHT! It disturbs me to see how jaded and cynical these media people, beltway elites and GOP establishment are. They think they’ve been there, done that and that this is same old, same old.

It’s NOT - the survival of our Republic is hanging in the balance.

I say pray for Newt - they all fear him and hate him. That tells me he’s serious about his mission to shake up things and make important and necessary changes to undo as much damage that BHO has perpetrated as possible. He knows how to get Congress and Senate to cooperate, and he wants to have a legacy of restoring the Republic. The establishment despises him, so he’s what we need at this time in our history.

He’s fearless, eloquent, bold and brilliant. Nothing less can knock BHO off his throne.

“I think candidates do, but do people running in the primaries?”

I know BHO did (since ‘07!!), and I think he was the first - simply because he was black.

I agree with you about Newt.

Rubio would have been an excellent choice, I agree with you. A popular new fresh face, a great example of success for the hispanic community.

Your post made me think of something I haven’t thought about, but makes sense. Probably the reason the GOP establishment doesn’t seem to be that agitated, is that they see themselves still sitting at the head of the table in a socialist America.

It will be the America of bureaucrats and elitists, exactly what these GOP leaders are today. As long as they still have some power, who cares what kind of system we have in place. It’s all about power for these bastards in both parties. They may try and appeal to their voters flapping their lips about less government, but the truth is they all believe in more government.

The more you think about it, the only chance to save this country from socialism, may be a new party that would grows out of the tea party movement. Elect people who really hate big government, want the damn government out of their lives as much as possible and get rid of all the people who are building careers by expanding government and creating nice cushy jobs for themselves.
