Proposed Warren Buffet law

I would like to propose a new "Warren Buffet" law.

The law will be simple, easy to enforce, and above all, "fair."

Here is my proposed piece of legislation:

The WARREN BUFFET Rule

The U.S.tax code should be amended to read

If your is answer "yes" to all three questions, your tax rate on ANY and ALL income, henceforth and forever, shall be 100%.

Effective immediately.

I need some help with the legislative language. How do we get this proposed "law" before Congress? It needs to be passed immediately.

Not income. Tax his wealth and see his reaction.

I don’t think they are allowed to target a specific person like that.

That is a bill of attainder. It is explicitly unconstitutional.

I’ll assume you were kidding.

Isn't that what Obama is doing, targeting people he doesn't like? He just doesn't use their names specifically.

Besides, Warren Buffet himself feels that he is not paying enough in taxes.

Great idea. Let's expose the hypocrisy once and for all.

Isn't taxing "millionaires," essentially the same thing?

Every one of those millionaires has a name and is specifically being targeted by the left, unless of course, he/she has paid the Democrats off, in which case, that particular millionaire is given an exception.

I say leave the millionaires alone and tax the rest of us at the millionaires going rates (15% or less). And that’s exactly what Newt’s plan is. A 15% flat tax after deductions for us peons and 12.5% for corporations. And zero tax on capital gains.

Of course he also wants to gut the federal government (including privatizing social security and medicare) so it can live on the reduced tax revenues. Ship all of the unconstitutional socialized welfare programs back to the states and the people where they can be controlled locally or shut down!

Go, Newt!!

Rebellion is on!!

What we need is a flat tax with no deductions for anything.

With no deductions they can't play class warfare games, nor can they create a protected class of voters that pay no taxes and get big refund checks.

While that sounds unfair to some, especially those with a mortgage and a bunch of kids, I contend that it would guarantee that the tax rate would be kept low enough that nobody would be hurt.

It would also prevent big liberal cities and states from taxing the he!! out of their citizens, only to be deducted at the end of the year forcing residents in the other states to support their lavish lifestyle.

“nor can they create a protected class of voters that pay no taxes and get big refund checks.”

I really don’t think those that live off the government and pay no taxes deserve to be voters. They have no skin in the game and will continue to vote themselves more “free stuff”. It doesn’t make sense to allow this to continue, yet there seems to be no way to change it.
