Not much point in comparisons to previous years' ratings for the State of the Union Address until the total numbers for all networks, including the cable news networks are in. We'll see the cable numbers, and likely a consolidated total from Nielsen this afternoon.

Warning: this does not include the cable ratings yet, so the total audience drop for Hussein will probably be even larger than 4%.

Does anyone other than the DUmmies actually believe that if we beat up the top 1% earners and take their money the economy will somehow get better???
"Does anyone other than the DUmmies actually believe that if we beat up the top 1% earners and take their money the economy will somehow get better??? "
It's the old, something is "true" because they've said it a billion times. If they said 2 + 2 = 5 enough times, they'd eventually believe that, too...
I DVR’d “Seinfeld”! Last night it was where Elaine can’t get toilet paper under the stall from a lady next to her! Then “Pawn Stars” re-runs! Oblivious to the kenyan usurper is where I like to be.
The NFC championship had more than 2 times the viewership than the SOTU did.
the key take- away is that next to American Idol - The Biggest Loser polled better than the other biggest loser.
The NFC Championship game, carried only on Fox network had a total of 57 million viewers. POTUS Obama, with his SOTU address carried on four major TV stations, FOX, NBC, ABC & CBS had a total of 26 million viewers. This number does not include the other seven (7) cable channels which will be available later this afternoon!!!
Bottom line, the Obama magic, hope & change is no more!!! When one considers that an NFL game limited to one TV station draws 57 viewers and...the most powerful human being in the entire world can only ante up 26 million viewers across the four major networks across the nation, the conclusion is that Obama has seen his best days!!! His fifteen minutes of fame have passed!!! If the Democrat Party has any common sense or brains, they will be wise to drop Obama right now, in the same fashion they would drop a bad habit!!!
Wonder what the ratings were after 10 mins? It was one of the most boring in histoir.
Pray for America
Sir, you were right on the money!!! Obama’s SOTU total numbers of viewers dropped 11% from last years SOTU!!! The final numbers include eleven (11) major & cable TV stations across the country. The total number of viewers at best estimate was 43 million, down from the 48 million viewers of the 2010 SOTU address!!! A more telling number is comparision to the NFL Championship game on just one TV station, Fox Sports, which cornered 57 million viewers, blowing the Obama weak viewer numbers away!!!
Yep, Folks, neither Warren Buffett, nor....Michelle Obama.....no Gabby Giffords could save damaged goods Obama from a lousy night of viewership!!! While, the “Obama” mediabots fawned all over Ms,. Giffords, folks who study real demographics, like Giffords book sales, which was a masssive failure in actual sales, neither Buffett, Michelle Obama or Gabby Giffords added anything of substance to the mix!!!
Democrat Party types, open your eyes and broom this failure Obama into the forever obscurity where he and his well dressed, at much taxpayer expense, wife belongs. The American people and voters have already come to that conclusion. The train is leaving the station with you folks left behind!!!
My wife and I were watching a Bioghraphy Channel show about the Bee Gees. It was great, but we dance to disco music.
Well, I helped drop the ratings. The minute he was to come on, the TV went off.
We watched a new Chopped on Food Network. I’m surprised anyone who didn’t have to watched the speech. I guess there are still some people who don’t have cable. :-))
