Israel-PLO Talks End in Amman, Jordan Mulls Sanctions?

The final “exploratory” meeting between Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization ended Wednesday in Amman with no progress, official said. PLO negotiator Saeb Erekat and Israeli attorney Yitzchak Mocho made little headway in their fifth meeting, the last before the January 26 deadline set by the Quartet of peacekeeping nations to break the impasse and relaunch direct talks for a final status agreement between the two sides.

"Israel has not advanced one step towards resuming negotiations,” a PLO representative told the AFP news agency.

Nevertheless, Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh characterized the talks as “serious” despite the disagreements on both sides. "The coming days will be devoted to evaluating the results [of the talks] with the relevant parties in consultation with the Quartet and the Arab Committee for Peace,” he told Jordan's official Petra news agency. Earlier in the day, a report in the London-based Al-Quds al-Arabi newspaper claimed King Abdullah II was considering a possible reduction in ties with Israel if the Jewish State did not “make significant concessions which allow the Palestinian leadership to justify their return to the negotiating table.”

When “peace” comes, be afraid; be very afraid. Daniel 8:23-25.

Fine, let superpower Jordan sanction who they wish.

And yes, the Queen's, Jordan's Queen, new solid gold shoes with diamonds are better than anything Queen Michelle owns. At least more expensive. As the descendent of The Prophets great grandpop, let the King fight his way back into Saudi Arabia where they lived for centuries till Ibn Saud kicked them out and the Brits found them a new nation. Maybe the Brits kicked them out. Maybe they chose the wrong side in WWI like the turks, doesn't matter. Sanction what you want, you already have a death penalty for selling property (even in Israel) to a Jew, who cares.

I do want to see the Queen's shoes when she gets them.

Aw, but they grow really good cucumbers and dates, and their palm fronds are great around Sukkot time.

Complete annihilation of the "royal" family of Jordan would result in massive chaos there and a "Palestinian" state, which would then become A) a destination for all the "Palestinian" squatters and terrorists, and B) yet another Arab country that abrogates its treaties.
