U.K. Muslim Brotherhood Forms Yet Another Coalition; Latest Effort To Investigate U.K.Media ^ | 1-24-12 | GlobalMB

One of the most ubiquitous tactics of the Global Muslim Brotherhood is the establishment of a dizzying number of organizations and initiatives and which create the impression of broad based support when, in reality, the sponsors are the same individuals and groups whose leaders have not changed in many years. In yet another example of this tactic, U.K media has reported on the formation of the “alternative Leveson inquiry” which is purporting to “investigate the way in which British media report on Muslim and Islamic affairs.” According to a report in The Guardian and based on information from the Islam Channel:

An “alternative Leveson inquiry” is being set up by an Islamic TV channel in order to investigate the way in which British media report on Muslim and Islamic affairs. The Islam Channel is planning to appoint a judge with an independent panel of assessors – just like Leveson – to carry out the inquiry. Its springboard was a public opinion poll which found that people believe the media are responsible for “whipping up a climate of fear of Islam in the UK.” The poll, by ComRes, was published in July, the month in which the Leveson inquiry was instituted. According to its findings, people are twice as likely to say the media is to blame for Islamophobia (29%) than far-right groups (13%), or Muslims themselves, whether abroad (14%) or in the UK (11%). The Alternative Leveson will examine the possible causal effect between media coverage and social attitudes towards Muslims. It will also assess any links between media coverage and subsequent government policy. It will ask editors and journalists to give evidence along with people who believe they have been victims of prejudiced media coverage. One reporter who might well be asked to appear is Richard Peppiatt who told the Leveson inquiry that his former paper, the Daily Star, published anti-Muslim propaganda. An initial meeting to discuss the establishment of a panel will be held on Monday afternoon at the Islam channel’s headquarters in the City of London . The channel, launched in 2004 is broadcast in English by satellite (channel 813) and broadcasts across Europe, the Middle East and north Africa. It is owned by Mohamed Ali Harrath, a refugee from Tunisia who, following the Arab spring, returned to his country for a visit in February after 21 years in exile.

A post from 2008 reported on an annual event sponsored by the Islam Channel known as the “Global Peace & Unity Event” and which featured one of the leaders of an obscure Jewish organization which calls for the destruction of Israel as well as many prominent leaders of the U.K. Muslim Brotherhood. As noted in that post, the Islam Channel is a U.K. media company which frequently promotes the works of individuals associated with the global Muslim Brotherhood. The CEO of Islam Channel and director of the event is Mohamed Ali Harrath who had previously been wanted by Interpol on charges of terrorism in Tunisia. The Interpol notice has since been removed.

A letter to the further identifies “Supporters of the The Alternative Leveson inquiry” of which virtually all the Islamic signatories represent organizations comprising the U.K. Muslim Brotherhood or which act in close concert with the U.K. Brotherhood:

* Mohamed Ali Harrath Islam Channel

* Dr Muhammad Abdul Bari Chair, East London Mosque

* Dr Omer El-Hamdoon Muslim Association of Britain

* Massoud Shadjareh Islamic Human Rights Commission

* Anas Altikriti Cordoba Foundation

* Farooq Murad Muslim Council of Britain

* Dr Daud Abdullah Middle East Monitor

* Nabil Ahmed Federation of Student Islamic Societies

* Abdullah Faliq Islamic Forum of Europe

The remainder of the list includes mostly individuals representing far-left and/or Palestinian organizations that act in concert with the U.K Muslim Brotherhood or who themselves act in such a manner. Examples include:

* Jeremy Corbyn MP

* John Rees Counterfire

* Sarah Colborne Director, Palestine Solidarity Campaign

* Asa Winstanley The Electronic Intifada

* Lindsey German Stop The War Coalition

A post from May 2011 reported on a conference titled “Confronting anti-Muslim hatred in Britain and Europe” that included some of the same people and organizations identified above such as Mohamed Ali Harrath, Daud Abdullah, and Lindsey German. That conference was sponsored by the “Enough Coalition”, also comprised of many of the same groups identified above.

Kuwaiti Muslim Brotherhood Leader Urges All Forms Of Jihad Against Israel

Kuwaiti Muslim Brotherhood leader Tareq Sweidan (aka Tariq Al-Suwaidan) gave an interview on Al-Quds TV in which he called on the Islamic “nation” to provide “direct support to the armed resistance” against Israel as well as urging Islamic youth to undertake “electronic Jihad” in order to destroy Israeli websites. According to a MEMRI translation of the interview:

Following are excerpts from an interview with Kuwaiti Islamist preacher Tareq Sweidan, general manager of Al-Resala TV, which aired on Al-Quds TV on June 4, 2011:

Tareq Sweidan: Israel cannot withstand the will of the people. Ultimately, there will be a decisive battle. We must postpone this battle, because we are not ready, but we will get to this battle.

The entire nation, and especially the countries bordering with Israel, must provide direct support to the armed resistance, and not just pay it lip service. Secondly, the Palestinian youth must realize that it has no alternative – and indeed, none of us have – other than armed resistance. That is the only solution for this nation.

Therefore, any regime, or authority, that does not support this approach, and does not embrace the option of armed resistance… In such a case, your Palestinian youth must shout the slogan: “The people wants to topple the regime that does not want the resistance.” Wishy-washy regimes that don’t know what they want…

Interviewer: You bear the responsibility for what you are saying…

Tareq Sweidan: You are not responsible for this… I’d like to say one thing, with your permission. The Palestinian Authority, with its spineless positions, has a major part in the loss of the Palestinian cause. When the PA is replaced, and becomes serious about confronting the Zionist enemy, and about the option of resistance – that’s when we will have hope. That’s why I call upon the Palestinian youth to adopt the slogan: The people wants to change the PA to an authority that views resistance as its strategic option.

The other day, I was asking myself: why shouldn’t I personally go on Jihad? First of all, my body cannot stand it. Secondly, is what I am doing any less important than Jihad?

I would like us all to feel that we are in the same trench. There is such a thing as media Jihad, political Jihad, and a form of Jihad that I strongly encourage young people to undertake – electronic Jihad. Some of our youth are extremely clever. I hope that a group of hackers will get together, and will wage resistance over the Internet, targeting Israeli and Zionist sites and destroying them electronically. I view this as better than 20 Jihad operations. “

Tariq Al-Suwidan is one of the most important leaders of the Kuwait Brotherhood as well as the General Manager of Al-Resalah Satellite TV, the brainchild of Saudi businessman Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal. In May 2007, Al-Suwaidan was listed by federal prosecutors in a group of U.S Muslim Brotherhood members named as part of a large group of Unindicted Co-Conspirators in the terrorism financing case against the Holy Land Foundation for Relief and Development, convicted of providing funds for Hamas. Al-Suwaidan is also the author of the anti-Semitic “Encyclopedia of Jews.” A previous post discussed both his background and the struggle to control his Wikipedia page. Given his role as manger of Al-Resalah TV, Al-Suwaidan is well positioned to conduct “media jihad” and another post discussed the possible role of Al-Resalah in a media campaign aimed at influencing world opinion to lift the Israeli blockade of Gaza.

WAMY Sponsors 1000 Palestinian Students At Hamas-Linked University In Gaza

Arab media is reporting that the The World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) is sponsoring 1,000 Palestinian students at the Islamic University in Gaza, an institution associated with Hamas. According a report in the Arab News:

The office of the World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) in Makkah province is sponsoring 1,000 Palestinian students at the Islamic University in Gaza, said Mohammed Al-Ghamdi, head of the committee for providing emergency relief for the people of Gaza.“The sponsorship of a single student costs the organization $1,000,” Al-Ghamdi said, adding that the Palestinian students, receiving WAMY scholarships, are attending courses in engineering, medicine, computer science, business administration, education and sciences. Al-Ghamdi made the statement while attending a ceremony at WAMY headquarters in Jeddah to honor its officials who worked for Gaza relief. Jamal Al-Khodari, head of the Popular Committee to Confront the Israeli Siege, commended the support of Saudi Arabia and its people to the Palestinians. He also praised WAMY’s relief work for the people of Gaza. “All relief assistance provided by this charitable organization has reached the hands of deserving people in Palestine,” Al-Khodari told the gathering. “About 50 percent of university students in Palestine, especially those at the Islamic University in Gaza, are unable to pay their fees,” he said.

According to a recent report, The Islamic University of Gaza (IUG) was founded by Sheikh Ahmed Yassine, the founder of Hamas and, has reportedly served as a training ground for the political and spiritual leadership of Hamas. Many leaders of Hamas have also taught at IUG. In 2007, the New York Times reported that IUG was “one of the prime means for Hamas to convert Palestinians to its Islamist cause.”

WAMY is a Saudi religious organization that U.S. government agencies and officials have argued has helped spread Islamic extremism around the world as well as sponsoring terrorism in places such as Bosnia, Israel, and India.

Where the UK goes the rest of the West follows like lemmings off of the cliff.

Time to nuke the island from orbit. It’s the only way to be sure.
