Also read the transcript on another thread - I agree with you and don’t understand how some FReepers interpreted Rush’s remarks as pro-Newt. Rush is dead to me.
Sean had Romney on in his last hour today...
Romney was swarmy and Sean was swooning
Romney thought he had tonight in the bag...
half an hour later and Romney is nuked by Mark Levin
He must have come unglued..

Right now, Mark Levin is giving Newt a spirited defense against the vile attacks waged by Romney and his establishment cronies. Levin is not endorsing Newt. Rush could have done much more to decry what has been happening.
Rush said that he didn’t know that Newt said those things. He also talked up Elliott Abrams impeccable credentials as he spoke of Abrams’ hit job on Newt.

Mark was brilliant pointing out the audacity of the very people who hated Reagan are claiming Newt disagreed with him.

I was in a Wal-Mart today, and checked out Mark’s new book.
Every single copy on the shelf had a price sticker applied directly to Mark’s face on the cover. That could not have been accidental.
I will go elsewhere to buy it.
I am cheering in the kitchen as I listen to him. FINALLY! Someone is telling the truth here and defending Newt. Rush’s defense today, if that’s what it really was, was quite weak. Mark is doing a huge service to the conservative cause tonight.
And he is pegging Willard for the progressive fraud he is!
The RINOs win and the game continues. We need to fight like hell to make sure the Rinos don't get their way. We need to take back America!

And G_d forbid Obama is elected don't forget to send a nice letter to the RNC headquarters and let them know how you truly feel being force-fed like we are duck to be harvested for our liver...

1:45 minutes of 2 hours was playing audio attack on Newt...and then comments like...”well, it’s true...Abrams was devastating” etc.
Reading the transcript doesn’t give you the full effect of Limbaugh velvety glove attack.
Anybody who didn’t hear it, should listen to it on podcast to see how it was an attack on Gingrich.

I typically don’t listen to Levin, but from all accounts and my limited time listening to him, he is a great host.
However, I was recently checking out the argument him and Tom Woods had about presidential war powers. Woods destroyed him, and Levin looked like an idiot. That’s pretty bad since, although he is good on some topics, Woods is a Paulbot, and I would like to think Levin’s position was correct. Since that, I’ve lost a good deal of respect for him.

He discussed the discount price sticker placement on his show the other day. It seems that it is standard to place the sticker in the upper right corner and that the book design did not take that into account. You will see that every store.
I am so, so glad I kicked Rush, Beck, and Savage to the curb and started listening to the Great One.
Same here. If after I hear the audio, it is no better, he's dead to me too.

I just listened to you for over an hour on 840 between Smith and Williamson Counties in middle TN
You are just as steamed as we are about how liberal to moderate faux conservatives are lying and attacking Newt 24/7 and getting a monopoly of airtime on FOX and print time on Drudge etc
It is sickening and what a wake up call as to just how effed up in reality all these folks for years truly are insofar as conservatism.

I love you...truly..in a non gay way of course ..but you can make a much more profound difference than can a wardaddy, or fudd fan or even a Jim Robinson..although his far outweighs mine...please step up to the plate and announce and use your rather hefty intellect to talk to the others.

The future of the Republic is at stake and you and Rush and Sarah and others are Sons of Liberty of this era and the rest of us who are small players will give and we will support and many like me have already.
I beg of you...it goes without saying I own all your books and that your’s unlike nearly all other books by conservative pundits is a true scholastic work and as a former student of Dr Erwin Neumaier at Ole Miss in the 70s I can appreciate it all. History is one continuing connection with the past and you are in a better position than I to help MAKE IT.
