1. Senator Dole's a fool for going after Newt here and now. 2. Dole was a very poor presidential candidate. 3. Dole's a hero not only for his sevice but for holding the line against Ol' Slick in '93 and '94 while the conservatives first crumbled then finally regrouped and counterattacked.

I couldn’t help but laugh when I heard that Bob Dole was attacking Newt Gingrich because he comes up with too many new ideas, fights with Democrats and can’t win an election. So I guess that Bob Dole taught us all that getting along with Democrats and avoiding new ideas like the plague is the key to winning in a landslide.
When Dole was minority leader, they use to call him the collector for the democrat party....he wanted everything they did, just not quite as much....all the losers are against newt...The only one that disappointed me was when John Bolton came out for romney....
I thought Dole had died a long time ago. I didn’t know he was still alive.
