Romney proves last night it is possible to ace a debate and still come off unlikeable.

according to the Miami Herald Santorum is hauling butt back home and will be doing his taxes Saturday:

Santorum says he would rather spend his Saturday sitting at his kitchen table to do his taxes than campaigning in a state where the race for the Republican presidential nomination has become a two-man fight between Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney.

Romney offered no substantive ideas last night. Just promise after promise and lie after lie.

His whole debate was picking at Newt. He looked like the ashhole that he is.

What a spoiled brat.

If RINOmney gets the nomination, it will be interesting to see if some of the more prominent social conservative activist groups such as National Right To Life, American Family Association, etc. endorse him in the general election.

We know where Mitt stands, but it will be more telling just how committed these orgs are when they make a stand....or not.

With all that side-stepping Mitt was doing, how can you tell WHERE Romney stands,
or for that matter, WHAT he stands FOR?

Like Rush said:
Rush, I agree with that observation.

“Mitt ... It’s time to QUIT !!! /a “

Why should Mitt quit now? Such a hope is a pipe dream. He has money, staff, resources and he will fight to win taking it to Obama’s throat.

I supported Michelle Bachman and committed money. I spent my energy, hope and dreams on Herb Cain. They’re gone. Santorum is broke, Newt is flawed, despite all wishes that he wasn’t. Grit your teeth and bear it: Romney will be the Republican nominee. Take him or Obama.

Let me add this article:

The only way Newt will lose to the Kenyan Turd is IF the "Establishment Republicans" REFUSE to support the Republican Nominee.
Now the "Republican Establishment's" hatred for conservatives is well known.
Jon Bershad wrote about Rush's analysis of their PANIC.

How many times has the "Republican Establishment" treated us to one lecture after the other on the need for “compromise” and “patience.”?
After we elect and RE-elect the "Republican Establishment", they conduct themselves with none of the confidence and enthusiasm with which they expressed themselves on the campaign trail.
It may be worth it for the GOP to lose some elections - if it means that conservatives—and the country—will ultimately win.

If we didn’t know it before, WE ... the Tea Partiers, now knows that accepting short-term loss in exchange for long-term gain is the essence of compromise, the essence of politics.

Ironically, we can thank the "Republican Establishment" for impressing this so indelibly upon us!!! I'm fresh out of "patience", and I'm not in the mood for "compromise".
"COMPROMISE" to me is a dirty word.
Let the RINO's compromise their values, with the conservatives, for a change.

My dislike for the Democratic Party is second to none.
But my ... LOATHING ... for the "Establishment Republicans" ... is even stronger!
The "Establishment Republicans" can go to hell!bbr /br /the essence

I don’t think Romney aced anything. He came off as a blustering, long winded bully who actually never answered a single direct question. But if being loud and obnoxious is “acing” it, I guess he did.

Good morning:

Does Newt have a prayer? Please cheer me up.

I didn’t watch the debate last night because I was out. DIdn’t tape it. Haven’t read any of the posts. Depressed as hell from yesterday.

Clearly, Ann Coulter is behind Drudge’s posting of the anti Newt articles.

TGO was sticking up for NEwt last night big time, but then reminded us that he’s for Santorum.

I think Newt has four days to make us all feel great about being Americans with big ideas. The aviation and space is an American venture. It can make us great again.

Romney's message has ALWAYS been clear to social conservatives: He doesn't need us nor does he care about us and our values.

Mitt Romney is skipping this event because he is a coward, plain and simple.

He knows his record makes him red meat for the actual conservatives in this race in a forum that he cannot manipulate.

The GOP-E has declare War on us Tea-Party folks. They are telling us to shut-up, sit-down, and accept/vote for their crappy candidate or go elsewhere.

I think there's hope for Newt, but it won't be easy.
We have to vote for who we want to vote for, and ignore the LAME Stream Media's constant drumming for LOSER MITT.
They want MITT because he's the easiest to defeat.
Look what Rush said (5th paragraph from the end) about what the "Establishment Republicans" think Mitt's chances are.
Read the following: However, we must stand up and loudly say
But it'll be a fight against the "Establishment Republicans" to the very end, and it may even go into a Brokered Convention.

Like Ronald Reagan said:

We can OUT VOTE the Establishment Republicans" because the general public is THAT MADand THAT FED-UP!!!

Someone one wrote: "Establishment Republicans" wouldn't care.
If they can't be in power, they don't want US in power.
It's just that simple.
It's WAR!

"Establishment Republicans" Want to Redefine the Term "Conservative"
DO CONSERVATIVES "ESTABLISHMENT REPUBLICANS" WANT TO WIN IN 2012 OR NOT?

Palin was my first choice, but she dropped out.
Bachmann became my first choice, and she dropped out.
Cain was my second choice, but he dropped our.
Now ... Newt was my second choice, but he challenged Rush.
So now ... Rick Santorum, who use to be my third choice, is now my first choice.

But Romney, Perry, Ron Paul, Huntsman, and Johnson are NOT acceptable,
and if on the ballot for the general election for President or V.P., would cause me to do a write in.

There's no way in hell I can compromise my values.

Jack Kerwick wrote an article on May 24, 2011 titled The Tea Partier versus The Republican and he expressed some important issues that I agree with.

I'm fresh out of "patience", and I'm not in the mood for "compromise".
"COMPROMISE" to me is a dirty word.
