People have to learn English if they want to fit in or get ahead in this country. Having a two-track system where some people are never encouraged or forced to do so is completely wrong, and this is topped off by having things such as ballots, drivers license exams, etc. in Chinese or Spanish or Creole or the many other languages they offer them in. Gingrich is the only one who ever addresses this issue.
No mention of the Arrest of the Principal,Teachers or Administrators for their BLATANT CRIMINAL FRAUD and MISUSE OF TAXPAYERS MONEY. The very idea that a person can receive a High School Diploma in the US without ever learning to speak english is FRAUD and the entire school structure that perpetuated this travesty belongs in PRISON FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES and their ASSETS SEIZED to pay back the TAXPAYERS for their CRIMINAL ENTERPRISE funded by the Taxpayers.
When a person needs help, how can we HELP if we don’t understand what that person is saying?! So true, English is the glue that binds us all together. Plain old common sense.
I met a Brazilian woman who graduated high school in Newark NJ without learning English; she said all of her classes were in Portuguese (and this had to be 20 years ago).
I’m sure the Newark taxpayers footed the bill for the costly duplication of services that required.../s

“...core goal is to overwhelm the American Southwest with illegal immigrants from Mexico...”
Americans are aborting and contracepting themselves out of existence.
Guv Moonbeam is driving productive Americans out of the state.
What do YOU expect the result to be?
Yes, those were the worst days of “bilingual” (meaning monolingual in the foreign language) education. The State of California, when they were forced for financial reasons and also by certain changes made under Bush to stop pouring money into bilingual ed a few years ago discovered that...lo and behold...the children’s test scores improved. They actually learned how to do things like read and do math, something that had been impossible for them in the “bilingual” classes they had been forced into.

California was interesting because many Mexicans voted against bilingual education; when the white overseers asked why, they said they wanted their children to work better jobs than they could work without English. In 300+ years they learned the obvious truth that is still ost on the East Coast.
What’s amazing is that there’re enclaves in the U.S.,where
you spend your life without learning English.
Thanks for the link.
A judge ruled that Alejandrina Cabrera didn't qualify to run based on her language skills, saying that Cabrera had "only a minimal survival range" in English.
Yuma County Superior Court Judge John Nelson made the ruling after testimony from linguistics experts and Cabrera's own testimony, where she answered questions and read a few documents.
Cabrera, a U.S. citizen who graduated from Kofa High School in Yuma, Arizona, was questioned on the stand about where she graduated, where she was born and what her name was. She was able to tell her lawyer her name and where she was born, but struggled with what school she had graduated from, according to the Yuma Sun.....she was asked the question three times, without being able to answer in English. (Yuma Sun report)
Watch this case get elevated to the 10th circuit and overturned just in time for the general election in November. Social justice landmark case that will give added legitimacy to foreign nationals running for public office at all levels of government in the US. Obama’s COLB will become totally moot. US Constitution? Who needs it? A mere, quaint historical document.
AMEN!!!
Although it is certain she does nothave a working knowledge of the English language, it also appears she doesn’t have a lot of intelligence to begin with.
How can you stay in any school for 4 years and not be able to name that school in English? Kofa isn’t that hard to pronounce.
Well she claims to have graduated from a US HS but when asked under oath three times in English, could not answer the question.
That was the last straw for the judge.
Yeah.......another brick in building the Third World on US soil.

Her calculated face tells the story---you can almost see the opportunistic gears turning.
"I play my cards right, I make lotsa pesos---I gonna go

Using proceeds from tax-exempt education bonds for activities not related to the bond offering would be of interest to the IRS and SEC.
