Even better is the GretaWire poll to the right asking who is running the dirtiest campaign.

WOW

that was an AMAZING interview

Conservatives in Florida need to WAKE UP! Santorum LEFT, he has GIVEN UP! why waste your vote on him in Florida? Vote for the only conservative on the ballot that has a chance of beating Romney on Tuesday.

Yes. It aired last night twice on Fox and I think if everyone could see it just once, NEWT WOULD WIN FLA. AND THE PRESIDENCY! IT IS THAT GOOD!

I agree Leni. When he can bypass the biased media he is able to get his message out and it is very inspiring and powerful.

Of all the candidates, Newt is a Tea Partier from way back! --1994-- bttt

House Minority Whip Gingrich and 7th District congressional candidate Brenda Fitzgerald throw mock tea crates into the Chattahoochee River on April 15, 1994, as part of a "Taxpayer's Tea party" in Roswell, Georgia. HERE: "Mitt Romney predicts tea party will turn on Newt Gingrich" ~ By Associated Press Saturday, December 17, 2011

TAX DAY 1994 - Politicians play with ire - Gingrich , others stage stunts touting frugality
The Atlanta Journal and The Atlanta Constitution - Saturday, April 16, 1994
Author: ALEXANDER, KATHEY, Kathey Alexander STAFF WRITER: STAFF

As procrastinators put the finishing touches on their tax returns Friday, politicians across the nation carried out carefully crafted stunts aimed at landing the votes of irate taxpayers.

In Roswell, U.S. House Minority Whip Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) touted fiscal conservatism by staging a mock tea party on the banks of the Chattahoochee River . Conservative Republicans tossed empty produce crates into the river in symbolic re-enactment of the incident in Boston 221 years ago when colonists dressed as Indians dumped tea into the harbor in rebellion against the government.

More than 200 similar rallies occurred throughout the country, including Boston, San Francisco and Detroit , as candidates used the tax filing deadline as a forum for one-upsmanship on frugality.

“Americans literally work every day for months just to pay for a government that wastes their money,” said Gingrich , who is seeking re-election from the 6th district. “On the day taxes are due, we should remind you that you have every right as a citizen to protect yourself, your family and your wallet with your vote.”

It was an excellent interview, one of Newt's best. Greta is one of the very few Fox personalities I enjoy these days. Oh, and she posted this on her blog afterward, which is very interesting...

After the interview, we stayed for a few minutes at his campaign event. The event was about the same size as the Romney event we went to a few weeks ago in South Carolina.

"What was particularly interesting was that two Gov Romney supporters were standing in the back watching. The two were Bay Buchanan and Congressman Jason Chaffetz. Apparently wherever Speaker Gingrich goes, Gov Romney sends two surrogates to observe and then speak to the local media gathered at the event."

This is the best interview I have seen. Greta was excellent and Newt showed HE IS PRESIDENTIAL. You can also see Newt's love for America and his resolve in this interview.

Off topic. We have to appeal to Santorum and Paul voters in Florida. Neither Santorum or Paul will win Florida and both have left to fight in other states. Florida is WINNER TAKE ALL.

A Florida win for Newt keeps the race going, for Newt, Santorum and Paul!! A win for Mitt and EVERYONE gets screwed.

Florida voters, help us keep the fight going against the GOP establishment and Mitt by VOTING NEWT.

Thanks and God bless.

I agree. His remarks show he has what it takes to lift the American people up out of the decay.

It really comes through that he knows the solution for America is in her people...not Washington DC.

Ping you to this very old picture of Newt.

Just might be one of the original modern day Tea Party founders?

Thanks Matchett-PI for posting this.

His comments on space exploration is spot on. Nixon hated the space program, tried to damp it down, because its was JFK’s greatest iniative hois greatest triue success, and something that Nixon would have never tried. Nixon was bright, but pragmatic. He had no faith in anything. Had no dreams. Everything was a matter of tactics. Kennedy, on the other hand, identified himself with one of the great dreams of the West, a logical extension of the great explorations that have created our modern world, and one that was articulated first by Johann Kepler and Galileo. Newt gets this.
