Newt’s tearing around the state like mad...unlike Romney, he doesn’t send “surrogates” to do his job. (Romney has been sending what he calls “surrogates” to Gingrich appearances to harrass attendees, who are uniformly ignoring them, fortunately.)
So it’s conceivable that Gingrich might be a little late. Also, like Sarah Palin, he’s popular and people always slow him down because they want to see him or say something to him.
