At 10:20 in, Romney thinks he's no longer being recorded and gradually flies off the handle in an off-air conversation with the host. Here you can see the true temper behind the corporate raiding "buyout baron." The link will open the video at exactly the right moment, no need to use the slider.
I recall another freeper said he/she had a friend who worked for Mitt Romney once and said he was the meanest man she'd ever met. Please reply to confirm the details of that if the freeper who wrote that several weeks ago is reading this.
I live in Boston and try as they might the left wing media in this town could not find one person who worked with him or for him to say anything unpleasant about him. He was known for being polite to everyone he came in contact with.
From waiters to his State Police driver.
I have heard any number of stories from people who had encounters with him and not once did I hear the guy was a jerk.
I don’t think this video is from this current campaign cycle. I remember seeing this the last time Romney ran for president in 2008. It is certainly more than a couple years old. I may be wrong but I don’t think I am. Either way....timing is immaterial. Romney sux.
Much ado about nothing IMO.
Where’s the meltdown? I watched most of the last eight minutes or so and didn’t see anything that qualifies as a “meltdown,” unless the word has been redefined to mean, “a mildly animated and contentious discussion.”
This is a lot of video to watch, just to fall asleep listening to Romney talk.
I don’t see much worth watching, there are other, shorter videos of Romney really losing his cool, like this one:

ah yes
that great oldie but goodie from Aug 2007
full of goodies
I don’t know why he’s complaining about the camera. I thought it was a pretty good segment. Pretty interesting, too.
I don’t see it. I just spent the 11 minutes to watch and listen from 10:20 on. He doesn’t fly off the handle at all.
This video doesn’t do anything to show Romney has a temper it only shows he is passionate about his church.
Too bad most people will just read your intro and not spend the time listening...but I guess that is what your point was...
For the record I DO NOT SUPPORT Romney but your post is very misleading and doesn’t help people understand our candidates in fact if anything I think some people watching this would have a positive view of Romney...is that what you really intended?
I’m not a Romney supporter, but the linked U-tube clip made him look pretty good, in my opinion. He seemed open-minded, energetic, quick on his feet, and well-informed about the topics discussed on the vid (which, being largely about the Mormon faith, have just about no interest to me at all). “Meltdown” is not a word I would use to describe the linked vid.
But Willard is one nervous wreck.
But Willard is one nervous wreck defending his cult.
Jeez, Romney is a very neurotic person.
I disagree with this assessment. They had a good disagreement, but Romney was sincere and consistent.
But I'm still voting for Gingrich.
If you look at at the reflection in the window behind Romney, you can see the tech (wearing a baseball cap) crouched behind a very large, clunky videocam. It actually had a red ‘on’ light, though I can’t spot it.
And then there’s Romney lying about the pro-abortion official position of the LDS church.
Are you kidding? He seems incredibly nervous, defensively assertive, and bordering on unhinged.
For what it is worth, a very close friend knew Mittins when they were college students. According to my friend, Mittins was a mean person back then. Just for what it is worth.
Guess ya gotta have Jedi powers to feel the dark side outta that conversation....
I don’t get it. It plays like a pro-Romney Ad!
1st off I’m not a Mitt nuthin.....but to be fair.....he no more melted down than a dog named Bo.
I’m also not a Mormon but if I was, I’d be damned proud of the way Mitt defended his faith
bad headline and bad intentions
