I understand your point. David Limbaugh (if we're to believe that he's not being disingenuous) is following what he believes to be the "formula': vote for the most conservative candidate in the primary, then unite around the eventual nominee at the general election.

There's only one small problem with the 2012 bottling of this formula. If Romney is the nominee, then Limbaugh is urging conservatives to rally around a man who is the very antithesis of conservatism. It could very well mean the end of conservative participation in the GOP. I can't speak for others, but if Romney is the nominee, I will not only actively campaign AGAINST him, but burn my Republican Party registration card. Happily.

In short, the "formula" needs to be tossed. Its expiration date has passed. It's poison.

Yeah, the RCP average was 13%, and no poll had Romney up by more than 20%.

So people are creating fictional strawman polls to take their frustrations out on.

I hope people learn something, particularly from the almost certainly fraudulent Insider Advantage poll for Newsmax showing things "breaking hard" for Newt.

I'm curious if a peep will be heard from Insider Advantage in the next few days.
