We’ve got a nice little ‘conspiracy’ going on to vote for Paul :-)

Yeah, I'm feeling empowered. If VA forces voters to choose between these two and Paul wins in a landslide, that should send Romney a msg. Also, will keep Romney from getting those delegates.

He’s quoting a famous line from the movie Animal House.

Chuck Norris will need to give CNN a roundhouse kick, in order to centralize Newt’s message.

Newt needs to be the first to step away from the nasty charachter assasination and start giving inspiring speeches like Reagan did.

Very true. We’d be a lot better off with no talking heads or talk show hosts. Just anonymous internet like this.

These people get a name for themselves, and their personality becomes a publically known commodity, and very soon their only priority is keeping their show going, or their website, or their syndication, or what have you. At the expense of principles. They probably don’t even realize it completely.

I heard that. The Gov & Lt. Gov have come out for Romney so I suspect he’ll win .... running the numbers up on Paul might give them a headache, but that’s probably about it. We’re just so p.o.’d with the whole mess and it’s the only way to show any sort of revolt.

Strong Tea Party support went 46% to 33% for Gingrich according to that exit poll. I don't know - do they call people with less than strong support Tea Partiers? I wouldn't.

If you don't vote for Gerald Ford, you are voting for...
Jimmy Carter

If you don't vote for Bob Dole, you are voting for...
Bill Clinton

If you don't vote for John McCain, you are voting for...
Barack Hussein Obama

I understand where you were trying to go and didn't have any love for any of those Republican candidates mentioned. But your post made the opposite point. You asked for it. :-)

One commentator said Gingrich’s problem was the last of a cohesive message. He was all over the map and failed to present a centralized message.

I'm afraid that is "our Newt" in a nutshell (sigh). "Bless his heart" as they say in the south...

Uh, no. It means GOP establishment.

I thought the elite would cover the establishment :) Thought GOP-E meant Establishment.

Elite would cover the establishment and all those outside the establishment that believe they are our superiors! Thanks for the correction.

It was John Belushi in the “Animal House” that said that. You will see that quoted on FR a lot. :^D

“I saw the same thing and I call BS..how can ANYONE who is a member of the tea party support a socialist who wants to implement the same policies that they are supposedly against, I dont buy it”

Well, I’m voting for Newt if his name is on the Texas ballot at that late date sometime in April, and if it isn’t on there, not voting for Romney and not voting for him in November if he is the nominee. I’ve had it with my Republican Pary. Do it without me.
