U.S. President Barack Obama on January 24 made his third State of the Union Address in Congress. In his speech he touched upon the issues of economic recovery and key issues of foreign policy.
Obama tried to assure that there was no point in speaking about the loss of the U.S. leadership in the international arena, because his country maintains a leading position in the world. According to the American president, the revival of the American leadership is felt throughout the world.
Broadcast footage of his speech resembled a scene from zombie film where at every mentioning of "the greatness of America" those gathered in the audience would instinctively stand up and vehemently welcome these statements.

Meanwhile, the Taliban that significantly expanded their control zone over the past two years and that is increasingly penetrating the quiet areas of Afghanistan are unaware of Obama's success.
However, these great developments outlined by Obama are overshadowed by the failures in the economy. Of course, foreign enemies were mentioned as well. In particular, Obama has expressed dissatisfaction with the widespread penetration of “cheap Chinese goods” and promised to protect American manufacturers.
It took Reagan to free the world from the threat of Communist domination.
It took Obama to let them back in the game.
This made me remember Fidel Castro’s latest comment that ‘’a robot can make better president then Obama’’.
And one more point....wonder why Obama never mentioned the unrest in the USA re the occupation movement that reached to his own door steps!?
what, did the russians miss his entire presidential campaign?
Hell of a thing when even his closest supporters are this concerned about him. Just think what he has planned for those of us who he considers his enemies.
No, they see what he is. From what I’ve read on Russian news sites...The Great Zero his pissed them off nicely.

I wonder if Romney thanked Fidel for the endorsement?
Maybe...just shows what the world leaders think of our Pretender in Chief.
You know we are in sad shape when the two most reliable media sources are Pravda and The Enquirer.
It sure looked like we’d won when the Berlin wall came down in 1989, and when the various Soviet states started breaking away in 1991, (Georgia, Ukraine, etc.) For a while the whole world trumpeted the victory.
But eternal vigilance is in short supply.
The USA could crush Syria—yes. But, take Russia? I don’t think so—even Napoleon with his grand army and Hitler with his vaunted SS Dragoons couldn’t achieve this. Russia is best left alone.
And that will be only until the federal government figures out a way to buy them off, with advertising dollars or whatever.
The fall of the Berlin wall was like breaking open a hornets nest. A zillion of them flew out and started wreaking havoc with their politics everywhere.
Consider Gorbachev. Wall falls, then a small ‘revolution’. He flees and is GIVEN a ‘villa’ on the Presidio in San Francisco. Oh the irony. It is in this location, he has conducted a war against private property with his Green Cross water theft project, and many others.
The communist conqueror now lives in true party elite style on a former military installation funded by US and California taxpaying citizens who fought him in the cold war. It really makes me angry. They are taking everything and laughing all the way.
Obuma’s Libyan operation is blowing up in his fat Muslim face.
Kaddahfi’s sub-Saharan Muslim mercenaries are getting hanged from lampposts, while his elitist Kaddahfi Muslim buddies are getting dragged into the streets and getting their brains blown out.
Libya is a bad scene for elitist pigs all over the world and a preview for coming attractions for them. Kaddahfi’s army turned on him. If an elitist can’t depend on an army to defend him, who can he turn to?
I have never seen elitist pigs around the world this freaked out and desperate, including RINOs here in the US.
