Freepers, Newt Supporters: 46 States to go (Mitt's Gotta Face the South Again Soon)
Freeper TitansAFC | 1-31-2012 | TitansAFC

Posted on 01/31/2012 8:05:07 PM PST by TitansAFC

Four down, forty-six to go!

First, I would like to Congratulate Mitt Romney! No, really! Between he and his Super PAC, Team Romney dumped over 25 million dollars into Florida since the beginning of the campaign which, along with the diabolical coordination with formerly credible GOP media personalities in a massive Establishment smear campaign, resulted in Mitt Romney getting less than 200,000 votes more than he got four years ago!

The result was a plurality win in a four-person primary where only two candidates even attempted to win the state. At least as impressive a performance as winning a basketball game against a team that only fielded four players!

But he'd better get busy again! At his current return of about one delegate per $500,000 in combined spending, he's going to need nearly $600,000,000 to buy the necessary support to be the GOP nominee in August!

On a bright note, my Freeper Friends, it gets better from here. You see, Mitt was expected to take places like NH and FL, places where it is hard to fight an Establishment favorite. But his troubles are only beginning: as seen in the polls posted in the last few days, he trails miserably in the South - states with disproportionately large numbers of delegates with many winner-takes-all Primaries. He is also second or third in most polls of key midwestern states, like Missouri, Ohio, and Minnesota. To top that off, he is at BEST in a statistical tie with Newt in national polls, despite his massive money advantage!

Georgia alone has nearly 80 delegates, a lot more than Florida, and Newt will clean house there. Don't even get me started on the sweetest plum, Texas, where Newt is a favorite and our friend Captain Perry is circling the wagons for Gingrich! Texas has 155 delegates, NC 55 delegates, Ohio 66 delegates, Alaska 50 delegates, and they are all Newt country right now!!

http://www.2012presidentialelectionnews.com/2012-republican-primary-schedule/

As you see above, the longer the campaign, the more it favors Newt Gingrich! Mitt may win some states here early, but he is breaking the bank to do so. And if he's struggling this hard to win states he should win easily, image what it's going to be like for him when he faces more South Carolina type places in the future!

To arms! To arms! Keep up the good fight, keep fighting! We WILL win this thing in the end because the state delegate count favors us GREATLY as the campaign goes on! Mitt can't win in the South, he struggles mightily in the midwest, and he won't win in the corn belt.

The fight has only just begun! Mitt has broken the bank, and has only a small lead to show for it in delegates. We are in good position, and we will prevail in August and then November!!!!!!!

Glad to see you meant Newt, not Mitt!

What Bain does is as to Free Market Capitalism as Westboro Baptist is to Christianity.

Or should I say as Mormonism is to Christianity?

I agree. Mark Levin surprised me a bit there, too. He sometimes talks about how we're conservatives, not libertarians or anarchists. In other words, we should generally support capitalism, private property rights, and liberty. For example, we don't allow businesses to dump hazardous chemicals in our rivers if that's what's most profitable for them. There are limits. As conservatives, we respect our ideals, but we aren't supposed to be blind slaves to them.

From what I've read about Romney's business dealings, Bain purchased companies only to plunder them by borrowing vast sums that the companies couldn't possibly ever repay, and then they left taxpayers to foot part of the bill. If that's true, it's despicable even if it's legal. That doesn't mean it needs to be illegal, but Mitt sure shouldn't be defended for it.

annieokie: “It will come up again, and no we are not bigots for despising Satan the father of lies, we a truthtellers and the truth is LDS are a cult, and not Christians. That is a fact.”

Bears repeating. The Bible does not leave any room open for future revelations that alter what Christ taught. In other words, Christ didn't need to send anyone else to fix His mistakes. That applies to Muslims and Mormons. There is only one way to Heaven, by grace through the blood of Christ, and not by works. If that offends some Muslims and Mormons, so be it. They are false religions based on man's laws, not God's. However, I will say this in defense of Mormons. They don't proselytize by cutting off the heads of infidels.

Goodnight everyone!

We took a shot to the gut, but the fight is just getting started.

At the very least, we did some housecleaning with some Mittbots so FR will surely smell better tomorrow :)

OldPossum: “I don’t think you’ve gotten the message. This defense of and shilling for Romney is going to get your @ss zotted.”

And rightly so. Rippin was apparently a Mormon, and from what I've read, something like well over 90% of them will vote for Mitt Romney no matter what. Sounds like a cult, eh? Regardless, they will apparently demonize anyone not Romney and totally disregard their own candidate's problems. I didn't know Mormons were pro-abortion and fans of homosexuality, like Governor Mitt.

Well, at least the link to Newt’s speech would have cleared it up if I hadn’t caught it.

“The LDS is doing its part to help Mitt. I just wish evangelicals would come out against his faith.”

Bishop Willard Romney’s Luciferian pantheism is not the core issue of this election. The core issue is that he is a cold blooded, publicly funded abortion pushing leftwing statist.

As for evangelicals, you would be better off trying to herd cats than orchestrate evangelicals. Evangelical resistance to groupthink, conformity and obeisance to principalities and powers are among the reasons this top down GOP is going to start losing the South, and one of the reasons Bishop Willard Romney will struggle, but general rejection of overbearing carpetbaggers does not translate into teamwork.

NavyCanDo: “So you want us to get banned if we don’t support Newt?”

From what I've read, Romney shills get the zot. You say you prefer Romney over Newt. That's not really the same thing that's gotten others zotted. They come here to spread lies and bash Newt. So long as you aren't acting like a Romney campaign spokesperson, you're probably OK. Of course, I don't control the zot button, but I hope you survive. If you're conservative, I'm curious why you'd support Mitt when he governed as a liberal Democrat. Are you one of those "electability" folks who think that's most important? Isn't what a politician actually does when they hold office (Newt = anti-Hillarycare, Contract with America, conservative congress, etc versus Romney = Romneycare, gay marriage, pro-abortion, etc.) important?

“He probably already got his Romney/Santorum 2012 signs made..............”

I wonder how Santorum’s pro-life supporters will come to grips with that, should it occur.

He said he would ATTEMPT to repeal obamacare. There’s a big difference with the careful selection of those words. I’m sure it would be a half-a** attempt and then if it didn’t go through Congress - voila! He has his escape hatch all ready. He believes in mandated health care for all of us. Wise up - if you can. So, some words about Bain Capital are more harmful to you than what Mitt did in MA? Newt’s words won’t bring this country down; however, Mitt’s belief in his healthcare and his minions helping obama write the healthcare law - WILL.
You need to buy a clue.

“What good thing can come from Massachusetts?...”

Samuel Adams beer. Bishop Willard Romney cannot drink it though.

New England clam chowder. The clams have more personality than Bishop Willard Romney.

Oh, there are a couple dozen conservatives caught behind enemy lines. That about covers it.

Let me just add to what you said Cats.

Mitt Romney is either one of two things, which, BTW, makes him one in the same: AN OPPORTUNIST!!!!

Let me explain.

1. He is either a conservative that morphed into a liberal so as to get elected in MA. (Does one ever stop to think that there is NO WAY in hell a conservative EVER gets elected in MA.)

2. He is a liberal that morphed in to a conservative to get elected as the Repub. nominee.

See, I say he is BOTH which means he has no core and is an OPPORTUNIST!!! Romney is running to serve only one thing; his ego!

Mitt Romney: Socialized medicine at the Federal level - BAD!
Socialized medicine at the State level - GOOD!

What a buffoon! I am going to need a lot more than a spoon full of sugar to make that medicine go down!
