Freepers, Newt Supporters: 46 States to go (Mitt's Gotta Face the South Again Soon)
Freeper TitansAFC | 1-31-2012 | TitansAFC

Four down, forty-six to go!

First, I would like to Congratulate Mitt Romney! No, really! Between he and his Super PAC, Team Romney dumped over 25 million dollars into Florida since the beginning of the campaign which, along with the diabolical coordination with formerly credible GOP media personalities in a massive Establishment smear campaign, resulted in Mitt Romney getting less than 200,000 votes more than he got four years ago!

The result was a plurality win in a four-person primary where only two candidates even attempted to win the state. At least as impressive a performance as winning a basketball game against a team that only fielded four players!

But he'd better get busy again! At his current return of about one delegate per $500,000 in combined spending, he's going to need nearly $600,000,000 to buy the necessary support to be the GOP nominee in August!

On a bright note, my Freeper Friends, it gets better from here. You see, Mitt was expected to take places like NH and FL, places where it is hard to fight an Establishment favorite. But his troubles are only beginning: as seen in the polls posted in the last few days, he trails miserably in the South - states with disproportionately large numbers of delegates with many winner-takes-all Primaries. He is also second or third in most polls of key midwestern states, like Missouri, Ohio, and Minnesota. To top that off, he is at BEST in a statistical tie with Newt in national polls, despite his massive money advantage!

Georgia alone has nearly 80 delegates, a lot more than Florida, and Newt will clean house there. Don't even get me started on the sweetest plum, Texas, where Newt is a favorite and our friend Captain Perry is circling the wagons for Gingrich! Texas has 155 delegates, NC 55 delegates, Ohio 66 delegates, Alaska 50 delegates, and they are all Newt country right now!!

http://www.2012presidentialelectionnews.com/2012-republican-primary-schedule/

As you see above, the longer the campaign, the more it favors Newt Gingrich! Mitt may win some states here early, but he is breaking the bank to do so. And if he's struggling this hard to win states he should win easily, image what it's going to be like for him when he faces more South Carolina type places in the future!

To arms! To arms! Keep up the good fight, keep fighting! We WILL win this thing in the end because the state delegate count favors us GREATLY as the campaign goes on! Mitt can't win in the South, he struggles mightily in the midwest, and he won't win in the corn belt.

The fight has only just begun! Mitt has broken the bank, and has only a small lead to show for it in delegates. We are in good position, and we will prevail in August and then November!!!!!!!

I enjoyed Newt’s speech tonight very much. Maybe he does his best work while faced with adversity?

$25 million to Newt’s $5 million

Wow, Newt did really good! Not to mention that 99% of the ads the $25 million bought were personal attack ads against Newt.

He is right, Mitt can simply write off TX & OK. Totally.

He WILL NOT carry the South........Ever.

Money simply cannot buy that one.

Does Mitt or his PACs from hell have enough money to do something like this in every single state that he and Newt are fighting over? And Newt barely had a chance to even get a squeak on the Florida airwaves — what happened, did Mitt literally buy up all the time leaving nothing for Newt to buy?

Lots of delegates yet to distribute. I expect Romeny will do well in Nev and Mich, but the south and the rest of the midwest is good for Newt. When Santorum graciously steps aside the conservatives will unite.

This will be a slugfest. Mitt has pulled out all of the stops and we’ve now seen all he has. Newt still has plenty up his sleeve.

If Romney beat Newt by a “landslide” 14 points, Newt OBLITERATED Santorum by an embarassing 20 point spread after being attacked by Romney and the GOP-E for ten days. Rick is toast.

This was our Battle of the Coral Sea, it hurt both sides bad, we are heading towards our Battle of Midway, where we WILL Fight back against the RINO's that are waging war against us Conservatives, and Romney's anti-conservative coalition is starting with Allen West), that is what Romney will do, he will marginalize the Conservatives in the Party and appoint only Liberals.

Then Romney will create his Vichy Republican Party, we could call it the "Whig" party because they stand for nothing, doesn't fight back against the democrats and fears the responsibility of Leadership.

The (Not so)GOP can either Put up a real Conservative, or Shut up and get the Hell out of National Politics!

13,000 ADs for Romney 200 for Newt

The establishment are so for a north east RINO that they are not even looking at how bad their guy is doing and with all of his money then add how he got less votes and how many of us including me and my family will never vote for Romney then they really are so arrogant that they cannot see past their elitist cross dressing homosexual parties

Texas is worth more than Florida and Virginia combined.

Florida could work in Newt’s favour.

Many conservatives are genuinely concerned about Mitt getting the nomination. Since we all saw just how dirty the GOP can get to get their way, it will hopefully get Conservatives in the other states to vote enmasse for Newt.

Yep, and I doubt Mitt will get 10% here. Probably much less.

Romney’s $25 million vs Newt’s $5 million

This is proof that Newt knows how to get the BIGGEST bang for his buck. A true conservative. No doubt that Newt would be the one to balance the budget just by looking at these numbers.

Newt also has a history of balancing the budget

I’m afraid to think what Romney would do to this nation. Those numbers for Romney are nothing to be proud of when you really look into it.

:Maybe he does his best work while faced with adversity?

CHA-CHING!! I have worked heart and soul for Newt in Florida these past weeks, as well as SC nationally, and I actually felt good about things after his speech. I know perspective and all that matters, but I think he knew he had to lead tonight... I was listening hard and didn't detect a single note of pessimism or second-guessing in his voice at all...

People, especially men, I have noticed tend to really perform almost supernaturally when their survival is at stake - like Newt's was in SC... I think he knew he needed to buck up the troops tonight and went out and did that...

that's our newtie, he's a cutie!!
