Dems unveil recall candidates in three Senate races

Madison -- Democrats on Tuesday announced three of four of their candidates for likely Senate recalls.

The lineup is largely as expected: Former Sen. John Lehman will run against Sen. Van Wanggaard of Racine; Rep. Donna Seidel will run against Sen. Pam Galloway of Wausau; and former Rep. Kristen Dexter will run against Sen. Terry Moulton of Chippewa Falls.

Lehman served in the Senate for one term but was defeated in November 2010 by Wanggaard.

"With the announcement today of Kristin Dexter, Donna Seidel and John Lehman as candidates to replace Walker's blindly loyal lieutenants, Democrats are poised to complete the job of taking back the Senate which was begun last spring," said a statement from Mike Tate, chairman of the state Democratic Party.

Responded Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald (R-Juneau) in his own response: "Running retread candidates is exactly what we had hoped the Democratic Party would do, because their failed tax-and-spend records will provide stark contrasts to our senators’ records of fiscal responsibility and pro-jobs leadership."

It sounds like the commie union thugs are going bonkers up there in Wisconsin. The GOP might want to start thinking about recalling some of the communist ‘RATS.

I always thought recalls were done because of improprieties, like Gray Davis lying about California’s debt. These people seem to recall because of political differences. In this case shouldn’t the recallers pay for the election costs?

freakin’ recall abuse...they may as well put every politician on 1 year terms if this is allowed to continue. But then the RATS would want to file recalls every 6 months!

Some encouraging news, heard today that neither of the two RAT challengers to Gov. Walker have raised squat for money, whereas Walker’s war chest is well stocked.

If the RATs want to play kabuki theater and run up the taxpayers’ bill by this ridiculous recall fiasco, then why don’t the Repubs recall the fleebaggers?

Then again, I thought this was why “most” States held regularly scheduled elections. Is half (or more) of the State of Wisconsin filled with spoiled Liberal children who stomp, cry, and deface government buildings and cost the taxpayers millions when they don’t get their way?
