Oops...

People act like this is something new...people sat home in 2008 when 'they' tried to shove McCain down our throat. It will be MUCH WORSE with Romney. You aren't even going to hear from them on the internet forums like this one or on 'talk' radio, but they are out there.

I’m voting against Obama in the General Election, even if it means voting for Romney.

Then you're voting for a Progressive Liberal who supports Abortion, gay-rights, and doesn't care a lick for limited government.

Congratulations, you've just told the GOP they can continue to manipulate and abuse you as a conservative.

Anyone else think CPAC will be mega-interesting this year?

We'll see another McCain 2008 CPAC redux with Mittens' flying monkeys in full attendance while Coulter and Christie are waving his banner. CPAC isn't nearly as influential as it used to be, thanks in large part by being co-opted by the likes of Rove and Norquist.

Congratulations, yourself. You’re providing aid and comfort to a treasonous administration that is busy undermining the security and economy of the US.

Romney stinks, but he stinks less that Obama and his friends.

Great quote. Thanks. He stated it much more eloquently than I.

I would rather have the devil I know for 4 years than the devil who is not a conservative for 8 years.

In California, we replaced liberal-left Governor Gray "Gumby" Davis with Arnold Schwarzenegger, who, of course, turned out to be a RINO. By the time Schwarzenegger's term was up, many of us conservatives wished that Gumby had remained in office.

We can’t even argue that we’d at least get conservative Supreme Court Justices with Romney vs. Obama. With Bush you could at least comfort yourself with that thought as you held your nose and voted for the lesser of 2 evils. No hope of getting rule-of-law judges here with Romney, so that’s the final straw.

-- There is one united corrupt and evil mob of elitists working together against the freedom, good nature, well being and interests of the country. --

So, which mob are you going to root for and vote for, Gotti, or Gambino? There is quite a parallel to the way the political parties enforce taking their skim, and the way that organized crime does. Comply, or pay the penalty. Under government, it has a spiffy phrase to make it legitimate, "consent of the governed."

-- I'm more afraid for the Republic than I am angry at the stupid party. --

This country was strong before it was a republic, and it could be strong if the republic falls.

-- Rinos and the DNC will take America down to the depths of their elitist, "smart" ignorance. --

I agree with that speculation. Too few of the people are willing to "take the risks" that come with freedom.

Like Hell I am.

You're being played by the GOP-E who never had any intention of listening to the Tea-Party.

THe problem is, you are doing it intentionally which really makes you an enemy of the Tea-Party and conservatism.

Go somewhere else, we don't support Mitt Romney under any circumstances, no matter the fear-mongering, no matter the false blame game, no matter the cowardly compromising spirit of those who would try and brow-beat us into supporting him.

Agree ... I won't vote for him, (Romney). I think if we concentrate on the congress and get the right Tea Party People in there, then we can control Obama by controlling both houses ... might even "DEFEAT!!!" him (as in politically destroy) with all the scandals. Our total focus (if Newt can't get it) should be on the local campaigns ... no money should go to the GOP from any conservative.

Voting for Romney is a vote that says "hey, it's ok" ... then when he goes left people will paint all conservatives as the color of Romney (pink). Nope, I'll take my chances with controlling Obama and working my heart out to help support the local conservative candidates. I'm not going to vote for someone I disagree so strongly with ... pro gay, anti-gun, pro Obamacare. Nope.

... and if we lose congress and the presidency? Well, that's what the majority of people in this country want ... socialism. Deal with it or start changing your socialist neighbor's mind ... NOW!

That is SO true! That is why, even though I dislike the Patriots and their coach (the cheater), I will be rooting for them to beat the Giants who should never have beaten Dallas in Dallas. In case you don't know the story of that horrible game, Dallas let the Giants come back from a 12 point defitict with 6 minutes to go in the fourth quarter!

The crawl across broken glass voter is what the liberals of the republican party have counted on for the last 20 yrs.

That dog won’t hunt anymore RINO’s.

Take a look at Americans Elect. They have two and a half million signatures. At some point a candidate is going to step in front of this parade. Why not make it a conservative? Drawback: it splits the "conservative" vote. But if the Republicans have no real conservative?

You might say it's better for Americans Elect to have a leftist to take votes away from Obama, which is the way most people think this group is going to go. There's no harm in signing up, as I see it. It's going to be a factor in the election whether you do or don't.

“Obamacare is already viciously rooting itself at her hospital”

So why on earth would you vote for the guy that set the stage for it nationally in Massachusetts?

Romney has already indicated he figures ocare will be modify.

It actually needs to be repealed outright. The only way to do that is with a veto proof majority in house and senate.

Also, consider this, after the abomination that is ocare, the RNC STILL can’t put themselves behind a conservative candidate? This is ultimately why we’re having this discussion!

haha well I’m in Boston so I’m routing for the Pats but I still have a grudge against the Giants so if anyone else but the Pats had won I would be routing for them!

I want to tell myself there is a lessor of two evils like I do every election. But I can’t. It’s a lie. There is one united corrupt and evil mob of elitists working together against the freedom, good nature, well being and interests of the country.

Well said. The only "true believers" or idealists in government right now are the socialists, the rest are there for their own personal ambitions and don't want their boat rocked. Their motto is "to hell with the nation as long as I'm getting mine" and they're not going to jeopardize that by actually taking a stand against Hussein and his cohorts. That might put their own power in jeopardy. They can carry on without my help.
