With only four states having had elections so far? You are out of you mind.

NO ROMNEY, NOW OR EVER

And if in the end it shakes out that Romney is the nominee, we’re supposed to stay home and suck up obama for another four? No thanks.

Thanks for posting, Kaslin.

Rush's advice to "focus on Obama" is one thing, but if America is to be brought back from the brink of disaster, then "We, the People" must have a standard by which to measure him and the opponent we allow to represent us in November. That standard is the Constitution of the United States.

By the Founders' formula, "the People's" written Constitution was the anchor of our liberties, binding government to the "People's" limitations on its power.

Obama's philosophy, in effect, undoes all the monumental work accomplished by the Founders on behalf of liberty and leaves the law afloat and without anchor, relying, as of old, on mere men and women.

From Page xv of "Our Ageless Constitution," allow me to include here excerpted words from President Andrew Jackson's Proclamation of December 10, 1832:

"We have received it [the Constitution] as the work of the assembled wisdom of the nation. We have trusted to it as to the sheet anchor of our safety in the stormy times of conflict with a foreign or domestic foe. We have looked to it with sacred awe as the palladium of our liberties, and with all the solemnities of religion have pledged to each other our lives and fortunes here and our hopes of happiness hereafter in its defense and support. Were we mistaken, my countrymen, in attaching this importance to the Constitution . . .? No. We were not mistaken. The letter of this great instrument is free from this radical fault. . . . No, we did not err! . . . The sages . . . have given us a practical and, as they hoped, a permanent* Constitutional compact. . . . The Constitution is still the object of our reverence, the bond of our Union, our defense in danger, the source of our prosperity in peace: it shall descend, as we have received it, uncorrupted by sophistical construction, to our posterity. . . ."

*Underlining added for emphasis

And, it was Thomas Jefferson who used another metaphor with reference to the Constitution when he indicated that "the People" must "bind them (government) by the chains of the Constitution." In another instance, he declared: "It was intended to lace them up straitly within the enumerated powers. . . ."

The Fall opponent must understand and be able to contrast and explain the foundations of the competing ideas of 2012, pointing out how Obama's ideas depart from those that made America a place of freedom and opportunity. If that opportunity is missed, then liberty, as Americans have known it for over 200 years, may be lost to another and counterfeit set of ideas.

In our focus on "Obama," we must be careful not to choose another carefully-selected candidate who meets the "good ole' boy" Washington Establishment criteria of either Party.

Rather, through the process, we must select a "People's" Constitutional advocate who has immersed himself in a study of the history of civilization and of America's unique ideas. Such a candidate was Reagan. He had studied the Founders ideas of liberty enough to be able to examine issues by the light of the Constitutional principle involved.

Looking at Obama, to be useful and worthwhile, must put him under the light of the Constitution's protections for liberty. So, too, must the candidate who will face him in Fall 2012.

Hey, Romney is going to unite the party. Heck, he has offered to let the Tea-Party ride in the car carrier all the way to the convention. He even made a special windshield for them.

LOL! And guess what the Tea Party will be doing up on the roof rack of Mitt-Witt's coronation carriage on the way to the convention?

The same damn thing his Irish Setter did on that infamous 12 hours trip to Canada, when his kids were saying "ewww, Dad? what's that brown stuff coming out the back of the car?" (TRUE STORY)

I thank the trolls for giving me the biggest laugh in a long, long time. The reality is that there’s not a snowball’s chance that ANY Republicans will miss their chance to vote against Obama.

Given that Hillary vs. Obama actually helped your side, I’m surprised that you waste time here trying to stir up trouble.

Time to stop to self-destruction and get behind Romney.

Getting behind Romney IS self-destruction.

Some of us have been observing and vetting Romney for more than five years, and understand that in a head-to-head of Obama vs. Romney, there is no "lesser" evil. They are equally depraved. A vote for either one would be a vote to encourage, enlarge, endorse, depravity in our America.

My vote would go elsewhere -- third party, write-in, who knows. I would CERTAINLY cast a vote somewhere in the Presidential so that it is on record that neither Obama nor Romney got that vote. One of the two might win, but I'd do what I could to make sure their vote tally could NEVER be construed as a mandate.

But let's hope that it ends up being Newt vs. Obama.

GODSPEED NEWT GINGRICH.

Oh I agree, no doubt Romney will appoint a radical progressive to the Court, and Romney will make policy and enforce regulations that will make unemployment go even higher than it has with Obama, and in effect Romney will cause even more Americans to collect food stamps and become dependent on social service programs, and no doubt Romney will raise taxes and make unfriendly business environments that will cause Americans to become dependent on social programs.

Er ... Rush currently lives in Florida. He is a native of Missouri. He is no more a native Floridian than Nancy Pelosi is a native Californian. Just FYI!

No, we vote for every conservative candidate below the presidential ticket level, because as I've said many times, if 0bama is re-elected it means America gets that bottle of socialism poured down our gullet against our will, but if Romney wins, we still get the same rot gut, but served up a glass at a time in nice exquisite crystal goblets.

Romney is nothing more than '0bama-lite', but both blends are toxic as Hell and I ain't drinkin' with that crowd.

He's been hosing conservatives all his g*ddamned life. Mitt-Witt is a true chip off the ol' block, his old man the egotistical horse's ass George Romney never made it to the White House, and if there is a God in Heaven, Mitt-Witt won't either.

"Rasmussen notes that 'The simplest way to get people to make bad decisions is to give them bad information.'"

Or, when it comes to the voting public, don't give them policy information, instead give them platitudes or allegations, depending on whether you are going "positive" or "negative." And, to cement the majority's direction, provide them will polling data - also known as "bad information."

I will vote in the general as I always do — “R” from the top down. I will not allow the commie to win by default and will do my part to ensure he doesn’t get another 4 years to finish us off. Personally, I can’t take the daily stress and depression involved in having him and his czars controlling my country any longer.

The focus needs to be on Obama.
No, the focus right now needs to be on the individual candidates!

If they want to go negative on whoever the nominee ends up being, they will, but that record can't be denied.
So why are you pushing to keep the focus on Obama? There is time for that when the nominee is decided upon, as you've indicated.

Walking and chewing gum at the same time shouldn't be that hard.

I know Romney will send me into fits, make me mad beyond words, and make me fight him on most things, but we need to rid ourself of obama.

We were able to stop W w dubai ports, meirs, amnesty, etc., we can do the same with Myth, hopefully.

The importance of defeating obama is not about romney! Its about sending a message that we are not a communist nation in decline!
