Obama's Enemies List
WSJ ^ | 2/1/2012 | Theodore B. Olson

Posted on 02/01/2012 12:23:44 PM PST by mojito

How would you feel if aides to the president of the United States singled you out by name for attack, and if you were featured prominently in the president's re-election campaign as an enemy of the people?

What would you do if the White House engaged in derogatory speculative innuendo about the integrity of your tax returns? Suppose also that the president's surrogates and allies in the media regularly attacked you, sullied your reputation and questioned your integrity. On top of all of that, what if a leading member of the president's party in Congress demanded your appearance before a congressional committee this week so that you could be interrogated about the Keystone XL oil pipeline project in which you have repeatedly—and accurately—stated that you have no involvement?

Consider that all this is happening because you have been selected as an attractive political punching bag by the president's re-election team. This is precisely what has happened to Charles and David Koch, even though they are private citizens, and neither is a candidate for the president's or anyone else's office.

What Messrs. Koch do, in fact, is manage businesses that provide employment to more than 50,000 people in North America in legitimate, productive industries. They also give millions of dollars to medical researchers, hospitals and cultural institutions. Their biggest offense, apparently, is that they also contribute generously to nonprofit organizations that promote personal liberty and free enterprise, and some of those organizations oppose policies advocated by the president.

That's good. Although he may become more of a first world tyrant, if he gets a chance to use his newly minted NDAA.

Of course you would. But it could also bankrupt you with legal fees, land you in prison or cause you to disappear if the government dragged it on long enough.

Something to consider when the hyperbolic screeches claim there will be no difference between Obama and Romney, Gingrich or Paul. (I haven't heard them claim this about Santorum yet, but I'm sure those moonbats are out there).

What Mr. Olson does not speculate upon, but I will, is the reason the Koch brothers have been targeted for such abuse: they make a useful foil to the influence on the Left of billionaire George Soros.

In reality, Soros is not only a clear and present danger to the United States, he could buy and sell the Koch brothers many times over, and his "charities" consist of One-World socialist foundations, Leftist policy shops, and Marxist-infiltrated unions.

Soros is getting pretty old. I wonder what will happen to his influence when he is no longer on this earth. He can’t try to make America a socialist country, or to run the world from where he will be going. Just sayin’.

I recently had an email exchange with an individual active in the media and very much pro-OWS and vehemently anti-Tea Party movement (actually uses the insulting term "teabaggers" on the website) -- yet claims to be middle-road and critical of both sides. Typical lefty IOW.

The individual is obsessed with the Koch brothers claiming they hired the gun totin', dangerous, racist, hatemongers ("teabaggers") to disrupt America at the command of evil corporations.

What is it about the Koch brothers that make lefties batty?

Now I know. The very same dirty tricks for which Nixon was hated by the very same people doing the very same dirty tricks for which Nixon . . . .

Idi Obama -- good one! Kind of two-fold meaning because it also suggests Itti Bitti Obama

To discover some insights about the people Obama would consider enemies, consult the Homeland Security publication his Administration had to withdraw. Remember the withdrawal was prompted by veteran groups getting attention for an implication that all vets were potentially a latter day Timothy McVeigh. Political obfuscation accompanied withdrawal, and no verbal or written statement rejected the document in detail. The excruciating title is Rightwing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment.

Indicators profiling the potential domestic terrorist (read enemies) still reside within federal law enforcement bureaucracies, and can be sampled from the publication with the following quotes:

“the return of military veterans facing significant challenges reintegrating into their communities”

“antagonistic toward the new presidential administration and its perceived stance on a range of issues, including immigration and citizenship, the expansion of social programs to minorities”

“perceive recent gun control legislation as a threat to their right to bear arms and in response have increased weapons and ammunition stockpiling”

“the perceived loss of U.S. jobs in the manufacturing and construction sectors,
and home foreclosures.”

“domestic rightwing extremists have feared, predicted, and
anticipated a cataclysmic economic collapse in the United States”

“illegal immigrants were taking away American jobs through their willingness to
work at significantly lower wages. They also opposed free trade agreements, arguing that these arrangements resulted in Americans losing jobs to countries such as Mexico.”

“Rightwing extremism in the United States can be broadly divided into those groups, movements, and adherents that are primarily hate-oriented (based on hatred of particular religious, racial or ethnic groups), and those that are mainly antigovernment, rejecting federal authority in favor of state or local authority, or rejecting government authority entirely. It may include groups and individuals that are dedicated to a single issue, such as opposition to abortion or immigration.”

Therefore possessing guns, ammunition, gold, and an emergency food supply demonstrates the popular profile for many who would suspect a domestic terrorist (read enemy). Also allowing abortion or illegal immigration to become a dominate factor in one’s political perspective can certainly constitute a threat to national security in many people’s minds. Then a person is really in trouble if they also happen to be a veteran looking for a job.

Governor Rick Perry of Texas supported HCR-50, which says Texas claims sovereignty to all powers not otherwise enumerated and granted to the federal government by the Constitution. He joins potential subversive executives (read enemies) in 32 other states, which have passed or are considering similar resolutions. He joins many other current Republican candidates for president in holding similar views.

Wow. I haven’t followed the case in Georgia, this is amazing. This goes way beyond the initial “layers & strange fonts” analysis - he actually knows who the birth certificate number belongs to, the origination of the forgery (where it was done) and what type of computer was used (Mac). He has thoroughly investigated this. Treason, that’s an understatement. This is the biggest story never told (but we sure know a lot about Kim Kardashian don’t we?)

Please, please, tell others. Copy the link and email it far and wide. The analysis by this expert proves the birth cert is a forgery. None dare call it treason.
