Isn’t Vegas where Trump will reportedly announce an endorsement tomorrow?

Just saw on Hot Air that Donald Trump is going to endorse Newt tomorrow...... what do you think? True? Good or bad?

We were stationed in Fallon Nevada. I did not know it was a big Mormon state like Utah.

On MLK Blvd. Reminds me of the old Chris Rock joke. “For someone who was all about non-violence, it’s ironic that if you’re on a street named after him today, there’s probably some violence going on”

The local gendarmes there tend to the jackbooted persuasion, but hopefully there won’t be any trouble around this rally.

In keeping with Vegas metaphors, Newt did not come to give a new deal. He came to restore a fair deal.

And, if Steve Wynn would endorse Newt tomorrow, it would be double good :)

I agree. Wynn, Trump, and Adelson.

That's quite a trifecta.

But why is this on the corner of MLK and Bonanza, of all places? Lol!

Sad that Romney has members of a whole religion locked up no matter what his views might be. Identity politics at the highest.

No doubt. If Romney were another but Mormon, Lincoln County would be overwhelmingly for Newt.

I'll be watching the Lincoln County tallies. I consider it a window into the Mormon mind. My hunch is it will go massively for Romney.

Fortunately, there aren't that many voters in Lincoln County.

Trump endorsing Newt would be great. But if he does, I’d really like to see him work as an attack dog against Romney. Trump can be vicious.... look at how he brutalized Rosie O’Donnell. Let Newt stick to the solutions and big ideas....

Genoa, officially our oldest town, was a Mormon settlement before the Mormons there were called back to Salt Lake to fight the coming war against the U.S.

A thought: Trump can temper Newt by endorsing him and keep him on topic. He can make Newt more secure and relaxed while sending a quiet message to Romney that he, Trump, can buy and sell him (Romney) if needed, keeping Romney from going negative.

Good or bad?

It’s good. Trump is a businessman and a successful one, of course and he’ll likely rip Mittens for his “plans” to get the economy going... or lack of them,

Not only Nevada, but Idaho, Arizona and Oregon also have very large Mormon communities. For that matter, so does Florida, much larger than you might imagine.

I love your analysis of this!!! If Donald can get Barry to release a phoney BC after all this time, he can certainly convince Mitt that all of his money is no longer an advantage against Newt. I believe that Donald sincerely loves this country and would love to use his influence to flush out Barry in the Fall. This would be a real game changer if the rumor is true.

Newton Gingrich and Dan Quayle were among the big King Day holiday supporters in 1983.
