Black Radio Host (Thaddeus Matthews, WPL 1180 Memphis) Insults Female GOP Candidate

What you’re about to hear is stunning. Get ready.

Here’s how MRC explains the exchange between a Memphis radio host, Thaddeus Matthews, and a GOP candidate for Congress, Charlotte Bergmann:

"This shocking video (uploaded to YouTube by someone not friendly to the Tea Party) shows Memphis talk radio host Thaddeus Matthews insulting and humiliating Republican congressional candidate Charlotte Bergmann on air."

And that’s being kind. Matthews quickly became upset with Bergmann when she wouldn’t answer directly about any affiliation with the Tea Party. Then he launched into a 16-minute argument filled with curse words and accusations that added up to her being too close to whites and not really having the interest of the black community in mind. Eventually, Bergmann bowed out of the conversation, and that’s when Matthews really let her have it — not only did he accuse her of being a “token negro” for whites, but he also slipped in references about Martin Luther King and even refused to shake her hand because he was afraid her “whiteness” would rub off on him.

“LOL”

I was, maybe I still am, involuntarily on your ping list. I occasionally even agree with your postings. I just don’t respect indirect attacks. I’m done. I have just about beaten this one to death.

* Whites aren’t having children. Just like every other society throughout time, as the society became more prosperous the people became more self-centered. Why have children when you can spend money on yourself?

Tom:

I have two children. I would have LOVED to have had more — five or even six!!

BUT, I have to pay not only for myself and my children but for all the welfare moochers too who can have ALL the children they want...while the government pays for it!!

My taxes are satanic. That’s why I didn’t have more children, we couldn’t afford it!!

BoB: we are Christians and many of our friends are Christian. They have large families, 3,4 and 5 children, and none of them worry about the cost. If you’re trying to give them all the latest toys and gadgets (iphones, ipads, cars), well yes, you can’t afford a huge family unless you’re wealthy. But education is free (home schooling is even better) and colleges will throw money at your if your income and expenses are high.

Don’t let college costs scare you. My wife and I are not underpaid yet our oldest, who was pretty sharp, got lots of financial aid from the private colleges in Southern California. I pay less for her to attend Stanford than I would if I sent her to one of the UCs or even the Cal State campuses. Friends of ours, with four lovely daughters who spent most of their K-12 years being homeschooled, are on a very limited income. Their triplets are all getting an education for free from colleges like Pepperdine and Mount Holyoke. It’s pretty amazing how generous the colleges are — the private ones, that is — these days.

The only reason we stopped at three kids is because of age. Mrs Tom H and I married at ages 30 and 29, respectively, and suffered through some infertility, not having our first for almost seven years. I would’ve had at least four kids had time allowed.
