What does he do all day? Are you impressed with the image of Obama-at-work left by Ryan Lizza’s “Obama Memos” piece in the New Yorker? The President’s decision-making method–at least as described in the piece–seems to consist mainly of checking boxes on memos his aides have written for him. … They offer him four stimulus packages, none bigger than $890 billion. He does not ask for more but does push for an “inspiring ‘moon shot’” initiative. At first it’s a “national ‘smart grid’”–hard not to get inspired just hearing those words! When aides explain that this isn’t stimulating enough, he settles for “high-speed trains.” … He’s presented with a list of $60 billion in cuts to his core stimulus policies, and writes “OK.” …

I’m sure Obama is smarter than this. He can’t be an executive who spends his days checking boxes, accepting the choices presented by his aides, never reaching outside them through unconventional channels or reaching unconventional thinkers, never throwing over the framework with which he is presented.
I’m sure of it, but I can’t find much evidence for it in Lizza’s piece.

I recall reading that George W. was at his Oval Office desk, ready for business, no later than 7am every morning. What is Obama doing at 7am every morning? Bending over in prayer while facing Mecca?

His task, given to him by his socialist superiors, is to sell socialism as the face of liberalism. He does not need to research. He does not need to consider options. He does not need to think of long term ramifications of his decisions.
All he has to do to please his socialist superiors is check the box next to the option which grows the government the most and then speak about that option like it’s so great that it’s amazing we’ve come this far without it.
Destroy capitalsim, "rich white people", and the middle class, as quickly as possible, that's what he does all day. Whoever believes this man isn't 100% down and dirty racist, and isn't glorying in the power given to him by the very people he hates and is taking down, is sadly mistaken. He hates so deeply he doesn't care if America sinks into the abyss; just so long as those people and institutions he despises sink along with it. It isn't about any love for Socialism he holds, it's about USING socialism as the tool to exact his pound of flesh.
Socialism is the perfect tool to "get even" with, because it can be viewed, (through manipulation by the media, hollywood, and academics), as a "fair and equal way to live". And this dumbed-down generation of Americans swallow it like pigs swallowing slop. And the best we can come up with to fight this juggernaut is Mittens Romney, the man who personally designed the prototype of Obamacare, and is damn proud of it. His "defense" of Romneycare is as shallow as he is. "I believe in State's rights, and national medical health care doesn't fall into that category, because it's Federal, not State". And people are buying that crap?
Every night (he “worked” mostly at night), Stalin was given the list of names of those to be executed the next day. These sometimes amounted to thousands of names. He would put a check mark on the top sheet, then drop the whole list in his Out box. That’s how thousands of people were murdered in the old USSR day in, day out.
What’s really scary is sometimes it seems as if he doesn’t know that he is just a “face man” for the people who are actually making the decisions.
I read somewhere that he mostly watches ESPN.

I recently watched a documentary about him and his dealings with the soviet military. I got the impression that he was terrified of his own military and they were terrified of each other.
One of the stories related said that when the found him after the German invasion of Poland he hiding in his office like a frightened little boy expecting to be arrested for screwing up so badly.

No matter how bad a president someone may think W. was, they have to be imbecilic to think that Obama is anywhere near as good and some idiots actually think Obama is better. I remember one old fool who lectured me on how Obama was going to patch up our diplomatic relations that had been ruined by Bush. The old fool is dead now but he had realized his mistake by the time he passed on, sometimes I wonder if having to face his own stupidity hastened his demise.

You just have to check out his schedule on www.whitehouse.gov to see how busy he is - what time he starts his “official” day and what time he winds it up. Unless he’s campaigning, he’s meeting with others to pick THEIR brains and even then it’s not even an 8 hour day! Of course, he hasn’t discovered yet that there’s not much there to pick...

Make that “our furniture.” That is so disrespectful, I can’t even express my disgust. I remember the Mrs., saying that her girls couldn’t wait to do their homework on the desk in the Lincoln bedroom where Abraham Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation. They really are lower class people!!! Can’t wait for the day when they pack up and move back to whatever hole they crawled out of.

On the rare occasion that Barry is actually in the Whitehouse I read that he is in the oval office from about 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Then he goes up to the family quarters for din din and then locks himself in his study doing God knows what. Good work if you can it.
