But, just speaking politics, this guy has no clue on how to run the bases- hes never had to hook slide into second.. This is a guy who learned an easy way to win every game- one just buys off the umpires.
In sports, buying the officials is not fair competition- and in America, buying off politicians to enhance your wealth is neither free enterprise nor capitalism.
As a person who loves sports- I believe in fair competition. And as one who loves the Founders America, I disdain the plutocrats that would return the Divine Rule of Kings,

Newt was fantastic! please tell me how anyone could listen to what Newt says and NOT vote for him? is it true that Romney will only get 10 delegates in Fla? LOL and he spent 25 MILLION in the state?
Saw him tonight. He was sharp and on it, although I’ve been watching him a LOT and he’s beginning to sound a tad bit repetitive on some points.
However, he came out of the gate running and provided that strong contrast. Santorum came on next and looked like crap —
Newt does MUCH better in terms of explaining what he’d do in office.
Just stay on message, Newt. Put it in the simplest terms. Show the strongest contrast ...and your Soros ad is FANTASTIC!!
I’d say this — stay away from attacking Mitt and INSTEAD, just relentlessly hammer on how bad it is in the country RIGHT NOW AND WHAT YOU WOULD DO ABOUT IT in this country. Jolt the sheep out of their slumber ... people aren’t being told the struth of the state of the union at the moment ... they continue to be distracted. by the Super Bowl, by this, by that ... no one really gets it.
He ought to say ...if you think my baggage is a problem ...you ain’t seen NOTHING yet, Americans, like the problems YOU are going to have, if we allow this country to stay on the current path!!
Screw You! Mitt will help you find your planet. Viva Romney!!!!
Truth hurts, eh my friend? -:)
What’s wrong with you?
Florida is TBD.
What is interesting in that the complaint was filed by delegates and the Florida Attorney General. Michael Steele and others at the RNC favor Newt’s position. In other words, most of the folks who AREN’T Newt Gingrich and have the standing to do something about it are in agreement that Florida should follow the rules.
This may very well happen.
Mitt commented today that “it would have been nice for Gingrich to challenge before the results.” I think that weak response is probably due to the fact that his own campaign lawyers and advisers have informed him that Florida may very likely have to follow the rules, which is bad news for Mitt. They are preparing for bad news after the spend-a-thon in FL.
I thought the interview was very focused and positive. Regarding all the attack ads and how to handle them, I heard an experienced political strategist on Fox say the best way to handle them is to be like Reagan. Stop and briefly say “There you go again,” go into a brief rebuttal and then put it behind you and get back on message.
If you are unable to comprehend my posts, you have no standing to invoke Cato.
Methinks you forgot the sarcasm tags.
I saw Newt on Hannity tonight and I thought he was great. I don’t think Romney can spend $18 million in every battleground state. Newt will be coming out any day with his finalized Contract for America and if he just sticks to it I think he will get the momentum back. He is going to do very well in the deep south.
Go Newt!! You can win the nomination!! Then on to the General!!! I can’t wait to call you Mr. President
Why does FOX have that annoying pop up that got Mitt’s whining on it?
“please tell me how anyone could listen to what Newt says and NOT vote for him?”
Simple, they don’t trust him....Newt has a long past and a lot of baggage. The Willards negative ads have had a huge effect in reminding people about Newt.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m voting for Newt, but holding my nose to do it. I’m settling for him because I feel he is the most Conservative left in the race. Plus I think he is the only one with the stones to attack 0bama, which has to be done to win.
Everyone on the right is very cynical about politics and people running for office. We aren’t like the Democrats who love their elected candidates and blame the Republicans for everything bad. Our side knows a lot of our guys are just as bad as the Democrats. We want a real Conservative to win, but that person isn’t running. So a lot of us settling for Newt. We don’t trust him, but we are going to roll the dice and take our chances.
He can win this! And he will! With our hard work!
GO TEA PARTY!!!
“As a person who loves sports- I believe in fair competition. And as one who loves the Founders America, I disdain the plutocrats that would return the Divine Rule of Kings.”
Divine right monarchy is an apt analogy. We are seeing an effort by the government class to impose a kind of bureaucratized feudal peonage on the ‘little people’. If you think you might be ‘little people’, you most certainly are.
Titan, I could be wrong, but I read an article the other day that said any Floridian who voted for a minority candidate had standing to contest the lack of proportional allocation.
“Whats wrong with you?”
He can’t cut and paste classical quotes, for one thing.
I see you’re still up tonight. I read on the Freepathon thread you had slept for many hours. How is your cold?
Thanks for asking. I am about to go turn water off from the ditch in a couple of places before we shut down such for repairs.
At times it is fun to ...
Yep, the night shift is mine! Cold is still with me, thanks for asking. It’s just one od those colds that won’t let go! I’ve never adapted to cold winters. That’s all.
To VinL you said:

As someone else posted, this is probably muddled sarcasm minus the sarc tag, not a flareup of romnoids.
“Ive been watching him a LOT and hes beginning to sound a tad bit repetitive on some points.”
That the way campaigns always are, a lot of people are hearing these issues for the first time, so he has to repeat them.
I was a captive audience in 2004 since I was in the hospital duting the last months before the election.
Talk about repetitve, I had to hear Bush say “Jobs Americans Won’t Do” over and over and over again.
It was sickening .
What could have been.
What is certain is the Republican Party fight over the Rules will be epic, and most certainly will not end before the convention.
They are still talking about 25 Florida delegates, here and there, as being half of 50, which is half of the 99 total Florida delegates.
State rules and RNC rules will converge somewhere and the battle will be royal, even within both camps and between both camps.
Why wasn’t this settled before the primary between the state and the RNC?
“Screw You! Mitt will help you find your planet. Viva Romney!!!!”
I’m getting excited now!!! GO NEWT!!!
144, No doubt, Romney and DC think that- but we know different.
Man is like to vanity: his days are as a shadow that passeth away.
Writing you Freepmail.
Actually, would love to see him pick up the fight on the “write-in” proposition in Virginia. Read before, it goes to the VA Sen Friday. Can see the Gingrich campaign— just write N-E-W-T!
Don’t forget to mention the “Who should drop out of the race poll” at your link ;-)
We're in a battle!
Hannity is replaying now, with Newt's segment coming on soon (I think).
I boycotted Hannity tonight when I spotted Romney as his first guest.
Which are you asking about?
My heart rejoices in the Lord...
No One is holy like the Lord...
The Lord Kills and makes alive...
I turned the sound off when Romney was on Hannity. Turned it on after Romney was off.
Mercifully, I think his segment has concluded.
Thanks very much for your mail. I have replied.
Sorry, not familiar with that-— Is there such a poll?
