Michelle Obama cranks out 25 push-ups on 'Ellen DeGeneres Show'

Michelle Obama proved she isn't just talk when it comes to exercise and wellness, busting out 25 push-ups on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" Wednesday.
"How many was that?" DeGeneres asked the audience.
"I just stopped," Obama said after the crowd yelled out a resounding number of 25 push-ups.
Obama appeared on the show, set to air Thursday, to promote her “Let’s Move!” campaign, which encourages daily exercise and good eating habits to combat childhood obesity. The first lady recently unveiled updated nutrition standards for school meals required by the 2010 school nutrition bill with the help of celebrity chef Rachael Ray and Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack.
Obama told DeGeneres that she is able to fit in a hour and a half work out — usually cardio activity, weight lifting and plyometric exercises — every day, usually after getting her two girls off to school.
DeGeneres then threw the gloves down, issuing her the push-up challenge.
"I can do some," she said. "I was just wondering if you could do more push-ups than I can."
Obama accepted the challenge and both women tore off their jackets and settled into push-up position. With the crowd counting along enthusiastically, the first lady seemingly effortlessly made it to 25. DeGeneres only made it to 20, lying exasperated on the floor while Obama wrapped up.
"And I thought it wouldn’t be good to show up the first lady,” quipped DeGeneres. “So, I stopped because I thought this looks bad that I’m going to beat her."

I watched the video and the ‘girls’ did pushups about the same way.
True, they did not touch their noses on the floor, but I think they pretty much did them similarly.

Wish I could be around when the history of this era is written; the description of this creature will be head-shaking.
At a luncheon a few years ago I heard a presentation of some of our former first ladies, by a knowledgeable speaker.
While we’ve had some colorful First Ladies (no pun intended), who did some amusing things, the description of Me-shell O’Bigmouthmama will undoubtedly provide some chuckles, gasps, and denial that such a person carried on like that.
Don’t believe decorum has gone out of style.

DeGeneres was the 1st “my career as a mediocre at very best / lousy comedienne is foundering – let’s see, oh, yeah, I’ll ‘come out’ as a politically correct lesbo and it’ll be alight” person, soon to be followed by Sandra Bernhard, Jane Lynch, then Cynthia Nixon (the latter, at least admitted it WAS and IS a choice). I try to avoid watching DeGeneres. I’d rather watch paint dry. However, if DeGeneres DID proper pushups, it is the result of her zeal to “prove” lesbianism is genetic, which it is NOT.

This is why gay-movement lawyers have been lying as hard as they could for 35 years -- so they could equate their concept of "essential" homosexuality to skin color, to get the same results the Civil Rights Movement got, from the Supreme Court.
I appreciate the sarcasm, however, it is my belief that homosexuality is a choice. It is encouraged by unionized teachers in the public schools who agressively push that it is acceptable to be homosexual, which morphs in young minds to it is “cool” to be homosexual - and “coming out” as such means “protection” from the current liberal dim-wit-o-cRAT regime and freebies from “big brother”. So-called “affirmative action” raises it’s ugly, unConstitutional haed as well.
