GO NEWT GO!
When will we know about the Fla challenge? you know it wasnt Newt that caught that on the primary ..it was the Fla state AG who worked on Newt’s campaign. Media trying to make Newt sound whiney. Bet Mitt is furious after spending 25 million. Someone told me that the RNC was not going to go by the rules on this?
On the other hand...
Newt can’t crack 50% in his home state?
We will see how many voters are attracted to lies. If they can be drawn into lies, it says alot what is ‘within’ that voter. I’m seeing how easily some are deceived and it’s not pretty! The fact that it is not hidden but obvious makes it all the more frightening. Mitt is a known liar/deceiver.
Go Newt!
RE: Newt Gingrich holds lead over Mitt Romney in Georgia
Sure, and I bet (without even looking at the polls ) Romney would hold a significant lead over Newt in UTAH.
No explanation needed.
So, what might it mean if Newt’s lead in GA is BIGGER than Romeny’s lead in MA?
Pass it on.
Newt cant crack 50% in his home state?

of course...
But have you ever tried to carry 50% on your own ???
Newts friend Ron Paul is giving him a hand and carrying 8% for him...
It’s not just a meme, to be objective:
RCP poll average:
Obama vs. Romney: Obama +1.8
Obama vs. Gingrich: Obama +11.8
Obama vs. Santorum: Obama +9.3 (note latest Rassmussen has Obama only up by +2 against Santorum)
Obama vs. Paul: Obama +4.4
Surely this is no surprise. It would be truly discouraging if Newt wasn’t leading in his home state.
Isn’t it a concern that Romney is polling so well there?
Newt lives in Virginia now.
So, are we suppose to be scared and say, "I am voting for Mitt b/c he is the only one to be Obama?" these types of polls this far out are garbage and do only one thing -- prop up the evil vile Mitt.
Mitt=Obama= hard-core Statist! The way the GOP-e is pushing Mitt down our throats, and the subtle mittbots on FR, I may just be tempted to vote for Obama to drive a stake into the heart of the GOP.
At least Obama is more honest and would NEVER lie and run as a Conservative.
Everything about Mitt and his supporters are an absolute fraud. The end game with Mitt is the same end game with Obama: SOCIALISM.
Not at all. A vast majority of American citizens are absolute drones when it comes to politics. Freepers may be tuned to politics, but I guarantee that most Americans only think of politics at the last moment.
Polls are being used by the Statists in both parties to depress Conservatives and nudge to the candidates that increase the power of the State.
People please don’t be a lemming. Stop Romneycare for us.
Thank you for fighting. We need reform.
I saw on Fox the National RNC guy said they have no authority over it that it was the Local RNC. If I recall the local RNC guy said they were letting the "winner take all" stand but they can challenge it at the conference.
If their (TEA Partiers) concern is for convincing enough voters to reject the idea of "a government big enough to give you everyting you want" and turn to advocacy for "a government small enough to allow you freedom to keep most of what you earn," then they'd better get busy seeing that someone is nominated who, as Ingraham put it on "The Factor" last night, has been "marinated" in the Founders' ideas (isn't that what conservatives purport to "conserve"?).
So far, Mitt Romney demonstrates no such immersion. He has been "successful" in benefiting from those ideas, and he recites familiar words and phrases from patriotic speeches and songs, but that is different from understanding and being able to call up and articulate the philosophy which made such success possible.
Ronald Reagan's life and letters reveal that he had "immersed" himself in those ideas for years before he agreed to run for President, and that is why he could set "issues" in light of constitutional "principle." and explain his advocacy or rejection of solutions in by that light.
The other three candidates--Paul, Santorum, Gingrigh--couch their answers to questions in a manner which indicate personal pursuit and understanding of the Constitution's protections, each in his own way.
Of the two so-called "frontrunners," however, the lifetime history scholar, teacher, legislator, and participant in what was called "the Reagan revolution," appears to be the one most likely to be able to successfully articulate and distinguish those ideas to voters, if given the chance to compete with the "counterfeit ideas" of tyranny cloaked in righteous benevolence by Obama.
Is "politics as usual" to win the day, or might we not bring Gingrich, Santorum, Paul, and others who embrace founding principles together to help to create a "passion" for liberty among citizens sufficient to defeat the counterfeit ideas which are leading the Republic to ruin?
The following is excerpted from "Our Ageless Constitution," p. 181:
"It was John Adams who said: "The foundation of every government is some principle or passion in the minds of the people." Clearly, the Founders' passion was liberty, and in order to secure that liberty, they sought out and incorporated into the United States Constitution those ideas and principles embodied in the Declaration of Independence.
"The French historian, Guizot, once asked James Russell Lowell, "How long will the American republic endure?" Lowell replied: "As long as the IDEAS of the men who founded it continue dominant."
"Herein lies the answer to the question, "Will the Experiment Succeed?"
"It can and will succeed IF the motivating "principle or passion in the minds of the people" is LIBERTY, and if that passion causes them to exert the determination and will to complete the needed restoration of the IDEAS upon which the great American experiment was based." ---(End of excerpted material)
Why is Bishop Willard Mitt Romney not using his title? What is he trying to hide? Do we want the elder of any faith to serve as President? Would we want a Catholic, Anglican, Methodist Bishop serving as president? Is it even constitutional? We need to have this conversation now!
Those numbers will look pretty good until Mittens’ stalking horse Lil’ Ricky Santorum rides in on his Romney unicorn to attack Newt.
